Silence...

Rumbling...

It was like the rumbling of an earthquake or the sound of thunder...

But then it started getting louder...

and clearer....

until I realized what it was...

Applause.

The roaring applause from an audience full of people who support us and care for us. They enjoy watching our crazy antics and helping us play games and be weirdos.

"Thank you guys so much for having us!" Mark thanked the crowd.

"Thanks for coming!" Jack yelled.

"Enjoy the rest of your days!" Brielle shouted.

"BYE!" We all said one final farewell to the audience as they all walked out of the auditorium area. Once everyone had left, we walked off stage to the back. We were met with "great job"s and compliments on the panel. We were taking off the mics from our shirts while Maryia made her way backstage.

"You guys were great! That was awesome!" Maryia congratulated us. We thanked her and finished taking off the makeup and microphones. We thanked everyone backstage who helped us and walked out of the backstage area.

It was past lunchtime and I was starving!

"I NEED FOOD! I'M STARVING!" I yelled out as we were walking through the main floor on the convention center. Everyone agreed with me so Mark, Jack and Felix started dragging us towards one of the exits.

"Are we going to a restaurant or drive thru or what?" Maryia asked. No one answered her so we were left wondering while still being dragged around.

Finally, we reached an exit and Mark, Jack and Felix let us go. I blinked my eyes to let them adjust to the light only to realize that we were surrounded by-

"FOOD TRUCKS!" My realizations were interrupted by my best friend screaming out the name of her true love. "I LOVE CALIFORNIA!" I laughed at her enthusiasm while we continued to walk deeper into the food truck area.

The area was a small patch of land, lined with food trucks from all different backgrounds. People were gathered around picnic tables placed in different spots throughout the area or in lines, waiting for their little pieces of "heaven on wheels" as Brielle would say. And there were strings of mini paper lanterns hanging over us.

"I hate when people say that food trucks are bad. They go 'ThAt ReStAuRanT hAs WhEeLs UnDeR iT, yOu CaN't TrUsT iT.' Like, SERIOUSLY?! I've heard it WAY too many times." Jack spoke as we started thinking about what country to eat from.

"Well, sometimes, we don't have a permit, ok?" Brielle piped up and answered Jack, which led to him bursting out in laughter. Mark agreed with Jack and told us about how some people went out of their way to avoid eating the food trucks Vidcon provides and leave to eat at some fancy restaurant or something.

"That's stupid! Why go spend WAY more money at some restaurant when you could be having tacos? And have to drive ALL THE WAY THERE and then ALL THE WAY BACK. I'm too lazy for that." Maryia exclaimed while her mouth salivated at the thought of tacos.

"Some people are just stuck up, or think they're too good for everything. Even though they're just like all us other weirdos." Felix finalized. I kept on thinking on what we could possibly choose for our lunch/dinner. Cause let's face it. I'm pretty sure we'll be too lazy to go out or even order any more food. And there's no way I'm cooking. After a long while of pondering the options, I had an idea.

"Maybe we should stick it in the fancy people's faces and get some classic Mexican food. The Mother of all Street Food!" I announced, proud of my idea and the fact that I made up my mind about what I wanted to eat. Everyone agreed with me and we made our way to the Mexican food truck. We each made sure to order something different, just so we could have variety in our lunch.

There were tacos, burritos, tortas, tamales, quesadillas, and some nachos with guacamole and salsa. After a while of searching around, we found an empty picnic table and planted ourselves there. The food was amazing and we definitely stuffed ourselves enough for the rest of the day.

After eating, the day went by lightning fast. The rest of the afternoon was filled of more walking around, meeting fans and fellow creators, and taking and signing pictures. We got to meet other creators and fangirl over them too, like David Dobrik, LaurenzSide, Simply Nailogical, Quackityhq and more.

We walked outside, only to find a bunch of rides and games lined up in this walkway-path thingy. There was a dunk tank, 'Wheel of Fortune' fidget spinner, and even a mini Ferris Wheel! We thought about staying there for the rest of the afternoon, but it turned out that the afternoon was almost over and the sun started setting.

We decided to leave before everyone else so we didn't have to get caught up in the traffic. Maryia drove us and dropped all of us off in front of mine and Brielle's hotel. We waved to her as she drove away and continued talking for a few minutes before Jack, Mark, and Felix left for their hotel.

"Today was fun, maybe we could, possibly, do this again tomorrow?" Mark asked, nervously. Brielle and I smiled and agreed to meet up again tomorrow, at Cafe Koko, just like today. Mark, Felix, and Bri were so tired, they were yawning in between each words. They said their good-nights and Brielle walked into our hotel, while Mark and Felix crossed the street, leaving Jack and I standing in front of my hotel.

"And again, it's us in the middle of the night, left talking." Jack said. I laughed at him and once I calmed down, he and I just stood there, awkwardly but still in a kinda comfortable silence.

"Today was real great." Jack started. I nodded in agreement and continued.

"Yeah, I had so much fun! Not only was it my first time going to Vidcon, but we had food truck food, went on a panel-"

"And met my amazing self!" Jack interrupted me, with a hair flip and exaggerated flamboyance. I rolled my eyes and half went along with his goofiness.

"Yeah, I met three new cool friends and an Irish idiot." I said while suppressing my laughs.

"HEY! You b-" I covered Jack's mouth before he could finish and reminded him that we are in a Christian Minecraft world. He rolled his eyes and laughed along with me at my stupidity. Once we calmed down, he seemed to be a little nervous and anxious to say something.

"Hey... uh, Y/n?" He asked, scratching the back of his neck.

"Yeah?"

"I know we've only known each other for a day, but I feel like I can trust you." He started. I nodded and started getting nervous myself.

What's he gonna say?

A/N

What's up Wattpadders! Thank you so much for reading this chapter! I decided not to write the panel chapter because I just wasn't inspired or really into the idea once I started writing it. This chapter is a little shorter than usual but don't worry! I'm sure next chapter will be longer!

Thanks for reading!

Sincerely, Static
