Chapter 16: You've change

Katrina's POV.

Finally! Lunch break na, nag introduce lang ako sa ibang subjects and then discuss, nothing special.

"Hey!" I was fixing my stuff when someone appeared besides me.

"Katrina! It's been two years! Kamusta ka naman?" V asked me, I smiled bitterly before I ignore him and went outside.

Call me mataray but I have no reason to get a long with them, especially to be close with his circle.

I'm now walking at the corridor confidently, everyone is looking at me, well I can't blame them tho, sa ganda ko ba naman.

"Ate" I stopped walking when someone pulled my skirt, I smiled when I saw a cute kid looking at me

I bend down so I could reach him, I think he's in primary, base on his uniform and height.

"Ang ganda niyo po!" Nakangiti nitong sabi, I giggled and pinched his cheeks, cute!

"Ikaw naman, Sobrang cute!" Nakangiti ko rin sambit sakaniya.

"Ibig sabihin po ba ay bagay tayo?" I laughed on how cute and innocent looking when he said that, he pouted after seeing my reaction.

Even the people in our surroundings laughed, pinapanood pala kami ng mga tao!

"Wait, I have something for you!" I pinched his cheeks once again before I get something from my bag and gave it to him, it was a heart shape candy.

"Ahh! binibigay mo na po ba saakin ang puso mo?" Sambit niya habang nakatingin sa candy na hawak niya, I laughed even more, on how cute he was!

"I'm Ethan po pala by the way" He introduced his self

"How can you be this cute huh?" I giggled again, he's so cute! I am really into kids, I love kids! I feel peace when I am surrounded with kids.

Isn't that a weird peace? Because usually when we heard the word 'kids' it's like annoying, loud, and sometimes irritating, but for me, I feel peace surrounds them.

"Kuya pogi!" Kumaripas nang takbo ang bata papunta sa direksyon sa likod ko pag katapos sabihin iyon

Napatayo naman ako at pinag-pagan ang kamay bago tumalikod papaharap sa direksyon ng bata.

"Kuya pogi nakakita ako ng magandang babae" tila bumubulong ito ngunit rinig pa rin, I couldn't smile more when I realized who was he calling 'kuya'

"How are you Ethan?" Quenji smiled at him before he gently messed the kids hair.

"I'm good kuya pogi! Look ate ganda gave me this candy!"  He showed off the candy I gave him and pointed his finger to me.

Quenji's smile suddenly fade when he turned his look at me, I'm just staring at him with no emotions, nagpabalik balik naman ang tingin saamin nangq bata

"Ate ganda! Bagay po kayo ni kuya pogi" The kid said before he pulled my hand near Quenji, I'm now 2 steps closer to him.

We're just staring at each other as if nothing happens,

As if he doesn't fool me at all.

"Akala ko ba tayo ang bagay?" I turned my gaze to Ethan and force my self to smile at him, I can't look at him for long, the pain will haunt me if that's continue.

"Opo pero mas bagay po kayo ni kuya pogi" He repeated, we became silent for a while before I decided to leave them there, I told Ethan that I hope I will see him more often.

I went inside the cafeteria, I was looking around when I saw Quira eating alone, she turned her gaze in my direction and wave her hand when she saw me.

"Bakit wala ka sa class kanina? sa class ka namin diba?" Tanong ko bago umupo sa tabi niya at kumuha ng fries sa tray niya

"Ah yeah, I was called from the office for some reason so yeah" sagot niya, napatango namn ako

Napabaling ang tingin ko sa entrance nang pumasok ang grupo ni Quenji, iniwas ko din naman agad ang tingin ko nang napatingin sa direksyon namin si Quenji.

"Order lang ako" sambit ko kay Quira bago tumayo sa kinauupuan

"fuck!" Singhal ko, saktong pag tayo ko ay may natapon na juice sa uniform ko.

"Ay, Sorry" binaling ko ang tingin sa babaeng iyon, it was Irish.

"Next time, watch were your going" dagdag pa nito.

"Sinandya mo ba yon?" Kalmado kong tanong habang pinapagpagan ang uniform ko, inalis ang tingin sakaniya

"Of course not! I paid for that! Why would I waste it?" She responded and raised her brows that made me frowned.

"It was your fault Irish! Hindi ka tumitingin sa dinadaanan mo!" Agad na tumayo si Quira at pinanlisikan ng mata si Irish.

"What do you think am I? Stupid? Duh! And you? Nakabalik ka na pala? Akala ko nagbibiro lang si Quira, you know, I never trust the word she said" Sagot nito sabay ngumisi, akma namn susugurin siya ni Quira ngunit napigilan ko din siya.

"Apologize. Then I'll let this slide." I said seriously, that made her laugh so hard.

"Gosh! I didn't know ganito ka kababaw, maaalis ba ng stain na yan ang sorry ko?" Tumatawa nitong sabi kasabay ang mga alipores niya.

I close my fist but trying to calm my self, this girl is really getting into my nerves.

"What's happening here?" Quenji interrupted, mukhang kakadating lang nila.

"Quenji, kase I accidentally spilled my juice on her, and, and, look she's hitting on me" Irish quickly change her tone from fierce to soft, I almost choked when I heard that, is she for real?

"Just apologize." Quenji said in serious tone, I shook my head and handed the glass in our table, it was Quira's juice

"No, I don't need your fake apology, tutal hindi naman mawawala ang stain na to ang sorry mo, might as well do it to you." I said before I poured the glass of juice in her head.

"Oh my ghad!" She screamed.

Nagulat ang lahat sa ginawa ko, ultimo si Quira, gulat akong tinignan ngunit napalitan din ng ngiti ang expresyon niya, nag simula naman mag bulungan ang mga nasa paligid namin.

"How dare you!" Mabilis dumapo ang palad niya sa pisngi ko, hindi ko ininda ang sakit nito at agad siyang hinarap at sinampal siya ng doble.

"Sa susunod na dumapo yang palad mo sa pisngi ko! Doble ang babalik sayo" Sambit ko na agad naman niyang ikinatigil

"You've change" Tahimik ang lahat nang biglang mag salita si Quenji

I frowned and I turned my gaze at him, looking confused from what he said, he smiled bitterly before he look at me straight.

"Nag bago ka na nga" that's the last thing he said before he turned his back and left.
