Chapter 30:  Behind my back

Katrina's POV.

"For real?"

"Yes! I think he's cute." Patricia said.

I still can't process how Quenji and I ended that night. It was so emotional.

"Kaloka ka girl! Bakit bet mo ba 'yon si V?" Quira responded to Pat.

"No! It's not like that! I just think he's cute" Patricia.

"Ganon na din iyon ano! Anyway, tulala isang friend na'tin, anyare diyan?"

I don't want to get involve with him anymore. I wanted to avoid him. But there's something in me that refuses to stay away from him.

"Katrina!" I got back in my senses when Quira almost shouted my name. Napa tingin ako sakaniya. Both Pat and her were looking at me.

"S-sorry, ano 'yon?" I asked. Nagka tinginan silang dalawa bago napa singhal.

"Mag sabi ka nga, may problema ba?" Quira worriedly asked.

"N-nothing, tired lang siguro, I guess" I said.

"Quenji went home last night, devastated and lost. Hindi ba kayo nag kita?" Quira said. I bit my lips, refusing to respond to what she said.

"Why would we?" I said. I tried not to sound guilty. Because I don't want them to know what happened between me and Quenji last night. I just hope Quenji won't say a word to her.

Quira said.

"E ikaw, how are you Kat? May problem ba? We're here ni Quira oh! You can tell us everything" Pat said. I just smiled at her. I want too but don't want, see ang gulo ko. I don't know anymore, I'm confuse.

"Oh my lovely sister!" We were having a lunch in the cafeteria when she went in front of us with her friends.

"I'm tired Irish, not now please" I said. I am tired mentally. I have no energy to argue with her.

"Ow, I am just getting started." She sarcastically smiled at me. I sighed in disbelief.

"Sister? Eww" Quira rolled her eyes to Irish.

"Oh yeah I know right! Eww! Over my hot dead sexy body. I almost forgot, hindi ka nga pala anak ni dad" She added. Here we go, not now please.

"Omg! Spill the tea girl!" Her alipores said. Quira and Pat got confused from what they mean for that.

"Her mom, is my dad's mistress!" Irish said. Which they did because they're starting to gossip about it.

"Huh? Ano daw?"

"Paano mo nalaman?"

"Tanga, binalita yon! Siyempre sikat na businessman si Mr. Lopez."

"You're right girl! He's rich! " Irish responded to the girl as she overheard what they said "and he is my dad!"

I'm not yet done! Huwag kang bastos!" Irish shouted at me.

She said with her evil laughed. I did not say anything and just stayed silent while not trying to avoid her stare but stared back.

"Tapos ka na ba?" I asked. I saw how she became annoyed but trying to hide it by laughing.

"What do you mean?" She asked while raising her brows. "Kung wala na aalis na ako, sayang lang oras ko sayo" I said with no expression.

"Huh! Oh no..I feel bad for my dad though, he have to deal with both witches in the same roof. And to Quenji! he does not deserve you!" She said.

"Sino ba talagang kina-gagalit mo?

She sarcastically said.

"Bakit hindi ba?" I smirked, which made her glared at me.

"See? You're so feeling. Manang mana ka talaga sa mom mo! Pareho lang kayong mang aagaw!" She shouted.

"Wala na bang bago Irish? Ulit ulit ka nalang." I said.

Anong bang pinaglalaban niya? Ano bang gusto niyang mangyari?

"Aha! You are not even trying to deny it. See? It's true! It runs in the blood! HAHAHAHA" She respond.

"You can't have it all nga naman talaga ano? Quira interrupted that made Irish look at her, but I did not remove my stare at her.

"You don't get a word on here. Hindi ka belong okay? So you don't get to say something!" Irish rolled her eyes to Quira before looking back at me.

"You always have something to say Irish." I said.

"Of course I always have! Don't be surprise if you heard everything I said about you behind your back!" She winked at me when she said that, while acting as if she's fixing my blouse. I grabbed her wrist from my blouse and gently let it go before I went closer to her and tried and pulled her neck tie.
I saw how she gasp and shocked she was to what I did.

"That's right. That's where you belong Irish. Behind my back!" I smiled at her sarcastically and let her go before I leave the cafeteria.
