Peter Parker Oneshots

Fitness test a.k.a Gym class

   Peter's day started out great. He got to school on time. He even had time for breakfast without shoving it down his throat. Even the school day was as good as school can be. Flash left him alone, he aced his test although with Tony's help he was way ahead of his classes. It was Friday, which meant  the weekend at Tony's house, if he could even call it a house. Overall, Peter was having his first relaxing day in a while. The one thing was his, spider sense kept going off faintly in the back of his head. Peter, of course ignored this because it didn't seem like a big concern at the time.

Fast forward to last period, Peter walks into his least favourite class of the day : Gym class. Now you think with Peter's abilities he would excel in Gym class. That would be the case if he didn't have to hide the fact that he 'Nerdy' Peter Parker was in fact incredibly ripped. You know the drill, gotta keep Spider-Man's identity on the down low. Anyways, Peter walks into Gym class only to hear the teacher say :

" Listen up class, today we're doing the Fitness test to see how much you've improved since the being of the term. Here's how it's going to work : you'll partner up and do the bench press, once everyone finishes weights, the girls will go to one side of the gym and time each other on the number of push-ups, chin-ups, and sit-ups each one can do in 3 minutes, 1 minute for each move. Meanwhile I will time the boys. Boys, you'll each go one at a time until everyone is done. Also once you've done all the activities you can sit down on the bleachers and watch. Everyone got it good. Good, Girls you take one bench press Boys you take the other. One at time and be careful that equipment is expensive."

The moment Peter here's all this info he speed walks over to Ned and says (Peter/Ned)

" Dude, what am I going to do?!"
" I don't know just do your worst???"
" If I do that Flash will tease me and coach will make me do it all over again for not trying hard enough!"
"Alright, alright then why don't you do really well??"
" I don't know that could end really badly ..."

Peter thought about this, even if he tried to do his worst his Teacher would make him do his best. After contemplating his options Peter still went with trying to do his worst as to not risk his identity not that anyone would suspect anything anyways. Forward to last 10 minutes of class. Peter and Flash are the only ones who haven't done the push-ups, sit-ups, and chin-ups. Everyone else is sitting on the bleachers watching, while waiting for the end of the day. Flash is up first. And Flash being Flash turns and says to Peter in a cocky tone :

"Watch and learn Parker"

Peter used to this tone ignores it. Meanwhile Coach says :

"Alright break it up. Flash ready 3..2..1..Go."

3 minutes later

"Good job, Flash you've got the highest score in total with 70 push-ups, 90 sit-ups, 60 chin-ups and 150 on weights. Now ready Peter, you're last."

Flash smirks and walks to the bleachers, the cocky pride showing so much it's blinding. Peter again ignores Flash. Peter gets in position he hears coach say go and immediately starts telling himself to do his worst constantly. After one push-up coach tells Peter to stop. Peter stands up and looks at coach, meanwhile hearing kids whisper about how weak he is. Of course, Peter can only hear them because of his super hearing. Coach goes to tells Peter:

" Peter, I know you can do better at least try or I'll have to fail you. Okay? Good. Ready 3..2..1..Go"

This time Peter went all out and 3 minutes later everyone is just watching Peter stunned. Coach calls out the numbers :

"Alright, new record 50 push-ups, 70 sit-ups, 45 chin-ups and 300 on weights. Impressive kid, you must be doing some kind of secret training."

Coach laughs no else does. Everyone just sits there silently stunned especially Flash. Ned had left early because of an appointment so he didn't have to suffer the silence with Peter. Before anyone had time to question him, Peter was saved by the bell and dashed out the door as fast as humanly possible or inhumanly in this case. As Peter enter Happy's car ready to head to Tony's for the weekend he couldn't help but dread school on Monday. But, Peter decided he would deal with that problem when it arises until then he would enjoy his last few moments of peace.
