Y/N POV
It's been a year, a year since deku dissappeared. I still think it's my fault, no matter what the cops or any pro hero says. It's. My. Fault. I'm walking to school listening to music to avoid social interaction. "A Million Dreams" comes on and I smile as I remember how me and deku used to sing the lyrics and blast the music full volume. I don't realize I'm smiling until I see people whispering and looking at me. I guess I look insane for looking at the sky and smiling...
I enter class and as usual everyone, especially bakugou, is giving me stares. Oh well... I lay my head down and i have a dream about the present izuku gave me for my 12th birthday(before we broke up).
FLASHBACK YAH YEET
"Y/N!!" I see my green haired (ex)boyfriend walking towards me. I giggle, "deku why r u so excited?" "Did you forget? It's your birthday tomorrow!" As he stares at me with his big green eyes. "wait it is? i totally forgot haha" "what do you want for your birthday y/n?" "hmm, a...(favorite animal)" "..." I laugh,"i was joking izuku, you dont have to get my anything, you can give me a stick for all i care i'd still accept it" "hmm...I have an idea, but I have to go now, bye Y/N" "wait deku!" "hm?" As he turns around I peck him on the cheek, "bye deku!" and I run back home. I wonder if hes going to give me anything

"Y/N! Close your eyes and hold your hand out!" "Ok izuku, i trust you not to give me (least favorite animal)." I felt something placed on my hand and I open my eyes. "before you say anything y/n let me explain. this box of matches is special, because if you ever feel alone or scared in the dark, just light one up and I'll be your light in your dark days!" My eyes began to tear up and I hugged izuku really hard "thanks deku...it's my favorite present I've ever gotten" He hugged me back and replied, "Happy birthday Y/N, I love you" I was shocked and i broke the hug and looked at his bright red face. I pinchedhis cheeks and said, "cutie green floof ball, i love you too"
PRESENT TIME
"Y/N! WAKE THE HEL* UP!" as bakugou slapped your back. "owwwww, jeez bakugou thats one way to wake me up." "You wouldnt wake up you dumb fu**" "well...douces.." as I vanished.
✿LUNCH TIME✿
I went to the roof as usual, and as usual, shouto is sitting there. As soon as I open the door he looks at me and greets me. "Hello y/n" "wow shouto did you miss me that much." Immediatley he looks the other way and I laugh, "I was just kidding". Like every other day we sit and talk, or I talk, shouto rarely says anything, and I rarely have nothing to say. Shouto is the only friend I've had since Izuku dissapeared, and he's a great friend, but I still miss deku... NO I slapped myself to get myself to stop being so depressed. "y/n, are you alright?" "uhhh, yeah just a bug on my face haha...." "are you going anywhere after school? I was thinking we could study together." "as much as that sounds great shouto, I have to go to the mall to get some new silverware. Next time, for sure." "Sure, that's fine with me." Little did I know...there wouldn't be a next time for a while.......DUNDUNDUNDUN xD

✿At the mall✿
I was supposed to get only silverware, but I ended up getting clothes too...oops. I was drinking (favorite drink) and I recieve a text from Shouto. "How's the mall." I think of a reply, and I reply, (choose your rely, have fun XD) I giggle and I bump into someone. "Oh my gosh I am so sorry are you ok?" I look at him and we made eye contact. Wait...he looks like....izuku... I was staring at him until he replied, "No worries, I'm ok." He walked away and I wanted to stop him. I instinctivley called out, "Deku?", but he didn't respond or even stop walking. Geez, I guess I just really miss him. Now that I thought about it, he was wearing a hoodie with his hat on, and deku never put his hood on. I mean, how else could I have pet his floofy green hair?
