7. I'm All That You Are (Part 3)

Paul and the Dean spoke for a few more minutes before Dave and Paul left to go home.

"So what do you think, son?" Paul asked, pulling out of Dalton large gates."

"I like it. It'll take a little getting used to but I like it" 

 "That's good, I think this school would be good for you David... Now if we can only get you that scholarship" 

"Everybody says that I already have it" 

"Oh?" 

"Yeah, they keep saying they have some sort of plan or something" 

"A bunch of rich kids plotting? It can't be good" 

Dave laughed and nodded. "It probably isn't'

The next day came and went in a blur. Dave had spent a good portion of the day at the gym preparing for the next days tryouts. He was a little shocked that he hadn't received a single text, call or uninvited visit, from Sebastian however. Dave was just starting to believe that Sebastian had grown bored of him when he received a call the morning of football tryouts. 

-Hurry up

-Hurry up?

-Yeah, hurry up and get out here. I don't like waiting.

Dave looked out his window to see Sebastian standing outside his car, tapping on his watch. 

-Hold on, I'll be down in a minute. 

Dave quickly grabbed his bag and ran downstairs, gapping at the sight. 

"What took you so long?" Kurt asked, taking a sip of coffee. 

"Yeah, you were up there forever" Blaine added in, taking a bite of pancakes. 

"what are you doing here?" Dave asked, shocked. 

"Eating pancakes.." Blaine said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. 

"Duh, well I'm drinking coffee" Kurt added. 

"No, I mean what are you doing in my house?" 

"We were waiting for you....or at least I was.. he came after," Kurt said while pointing to Blaine. 

"They came to take you to your tryouts today," Paul said, entering the room while tying up his tie. "Good luck, son," he said, grabbing his suitcase and exiting the front door. 

"We should probably be leaving too," Blaine said, looking at the clock. 

"Probably," Sebastian said, poking his head in from the front door. "Now are you three almost ready?" 

"And I love the taste of pancakes," Blaine said, taking another large bite while earning a laugh from Kurt. 

"Just hurry up" Sebastian just frowned. 

Blaine folded his last pancake in half and jammed it in his mouth. Kurt simply put his cup in the sink and the three were out the door. Blaine took the passenger seat as Kurt and Dave sat in the back. 

"Who wants to sing a song?" Blaine asked, putting an instrumental version. 

Dave gaped at him. "I loved this song?" 

"Come on! Let's sing the song!" Before anyone could protest Blaine was already humming.

"May I start..." Dave said after everyone nodded.
