Dave woke up the next morning more excited than he had ever been. Today was the day that he moved into Dalton. He was so excited that he got up an hour before his alarm went off, by the time it did he was already showered, made breakfast, and finished packing. His phone rung at the last shirt he packed, he looked at the phone expecting Sebastian's or Kurt's name to pop up but it wasn't it was an unknown number.

-Hello?

-Hurry up and come downstairs!

-Jeff? How'd you get my number?
Dave frowned.

-Sebastian
Jeff replied.

-Wow, really you Dalton brats do know how to answer a question...

 -HEY! I'M NOT A BRAT!

Dave heard Nick yelled.

-Shh, Nicky! I'm on the phone!

Dave heard Jeff yelled back

-Anyway, Hurry up and come downstairs, Dave! Or, at least, let us in!

-Have you guys never heard of calling before coming over?

-Surprise visits are better.

Jeff laughed.

-Is he almost done? I'm bored of waiting.

Sebastian said. A moment later Dave heard a horn honking.

-Can you stop doing that! You're going to wake my dad.
Dave said, frowning.

-Then hurry the fuck down!
Sebastian said, annoyed.

-Fine. Give me a second, God.
Dave said. Hanging up the phone before they could reply.

He grabs his bag and slung in the back then grabbed his two suitcases. He looked around his now practically empty room to make sure he hadn't left anything behind before exiting the room. He went downstairs and wrote his dad a letter telling him he left early.

"Hurry up!" Jeff yelled, popping his blond head out of the window.

"I'm coming, I'm coming," Dave said, waving the boy off.

Sebastian pop his trunk and Dave threw his bags before taking his spot in the front seat.

"You guys didn't have to come to get me," Dave said.

"Eh, we figured we'd save your dad the drive," Nick said, shrugging.

"Besides, what are friends for?" Jeff said with his usual smile.

Dave couldn't help but smile when Jeff said they were friends. The only thing that he was nervous about is going to Dalton was the whole 'making friends' thing. "So what song are we going to sing," Jeff asked, pulling out instrumentals CDs out of nothing.

Dave gaped at the blond. "Where do you put those?" His question, as usual, went ignored.

"Something fun," Nicky said.

"And one that doesn't suck," Sebastian said.

"What about Lady Marmalade," Jeff asked, excitedly.
