Despite being a teenager, being on the varsity basketball team, and having a great mom, life seems to be spinning for Jordyn.
He lays atop the roof of his car, staring up the sky above him. He has school tomorrow but doesn't give one shit about it anymore.
Jordyn lets a sigh leave his lips before he sits up, pulling a pack of cigarettes from his varsity jacket. He shakes the small box in his hand, wondering if he should start. Maybe it could ruin the career everyone has planned for him, making him useless so he can die without anyone caring.
Another heavy breath leaves him, looking like smoke leaving his lips. He wishes it was smoke leaving his lips. But, being the good child with a conscience, he throws them, disappearing into the large grass field in front of him.
Jordyn is surprised he can even see the field, as the only light he has is the full moon and his car since the headlights are on.
He let's time go on without him before his hands and ears become numb, forcing him back into his car, before driving home.
