(Y/N's) POV
Despite the conversation we had mere hours ago, Anti doesn't seem to be doing any better.
Not in the emotional sense, no in a more physically ill sense.
I have begun to notice how... Weak he looks and how his skin has paled more. I have figured it was because of the encounter with Dark, but I doubt a simple battle of wits is enough to take him down. I had thought of asking him about it, but I decided against it considering he doesn't like being referenced as "weak". In order to get my mind off of it, I decided to busy myself with a small investigation:
Find out who Dark's "inside man" is.
It is obvious that there is someone in here working with Dark, there was no way he would have known I was here.
Not unless someone had told him.
I have a small list of suspects in my head: Jamie and Robert. There was a small chance of it being Jamie due to the pure hatred he held for me at the beginning and his seemingly on and off appearance here, or maybe the author forgot about him. However, the best candidate has to be the doctor, simply because of his records on me and how he was the one who coincidentally organized me to have that one on one session. But, of course, I can't just go on speculation, I need hard and solid proof, but that is not going to be easy to get when you live in a secured Asylum now is it? That is why it is good to be "friends" with a magician. However, I have to wait for him since he is in a small therapy session, luckily he should be in any time now.
"Hey Y/N! Jack mentioned that you wanted to see me?" There he is. I turned around and see Marvin entering the room, the nurse quickly leaving the two of us alone as she closed the door. I put on a smile and nodded,
"Ah yes, I kind of need your help with something.." I said shyly. Marvin gave me a confused look,
"Ya do? With what?" He asked as he sat down by me. I know I have to tread carefully, though I know Marvin, I am not entirely sure if he classifies me close enough to him to do this. So I must be extra careful in wording my favor,
"Well... You see, I kind of need your help with a magic trick I am practicing for Serene." The moment I saw Marvin's eyes lit up I knew I had him. He was practically bouncing in his seat,
"Of course! What magic trick?!" He nearly shouted as he pulled out what appeared to be a magic book.
"Can you make me disappear?" I asked with a hopeful look. Marvin looked in thought for a moment before hesitantly looking at me,
"I can... But since I am not necessarily a traditional magician, I need you to think of the location you want to be in when you reappear." Bingo. Truth be told, I already read his magic book and knew which one I wanted to go for... Plus it was pretty obvious Marvin held real magic considering what he did when I first met him... The only thing I had to worry about was wording my request properly, and it worked: Use a man's passion to get him to do something for you.
"I don't mind that... You wanna do it now when she wakes up? I already know what to do with this one, which makes it easier." I question him to which he nods enthusiastically. I smile as he gets up and goes to Serene's room, obviously going to wake her up. I chuckle at his ignorance, shouldn't he have questioned how I knew it? I guess his excitement got the best of him. I stopped chuckling as he emerged with Serene trailing behind him, a happy yet tired look on her face. I gave a small wave to her which she gladly does back as she sits down. Marvin clears his throat,
"And now the Disappearing Act will be performed for the adorable Serene, Y/N will you please stand next to me?" I nod and get up to stand by him. He places his cape in front of me, masking my body from Serene's view as he began to chant in a language,
"Ego sum etiam piger ad venit cum enim naeniam.." He says as his eyes began to slightly glow. I already had an image in my head of where I want to be and by that last word, my body began to feel light and nauseous. After a few seconds of silence, I slowly opened my eyes and lo and behold, I was in Robert's office. The lights were off and I knew the door would be locked because he'd be on lunch his break. I walked around the room trying to find a light and soon a felt the switch and turned it on. The room lit up and I quickly began to search the office. The room was fairly organized which makes my job easier, however, my best bet would be his emails or letters. Even though handwritten letters are outdated, Dark still writes them. I searched his cabinets and his files but unfortunately found nothing and his computer has a password. I let out an annoyed sigh at the lack of progress I was making. Maybe it isn't him? No, he has to be it, I know Dark, he would go for someone easily manipulated and with power... Robert fits the bill with his personality and the fact he can keep tabs with me... It also makes sense because there is no way that Robert would put the same objects that would make me vulnerable in that room...
Robert set me up, and I plan on returning the favor.
I tried to think of other places he put them, however in the corner of my eye I spot something.
His paper shredder, and in it sat a yellow folder with a symbol I know all too well...
A black rose.
So it seems he was trying to shred it? Guess he didn't have time to... I got up and quickly picked it up and looked at the front. There was a date on it and I knew that Dark must have sent him a letter recently. I was quick to undo the tab but before I can reach in and grab it, I hear the door creak.

I hit a huge motivation block which is why I didn't update much of my stories, but I am trying to get out of it.
