I was 9 years old
I ran out to the lot I Hurd Johnnys mom yelling! Johnny came out. I hugged him.
"Oh johnny i'm so sorry!" I said crying he held me.
"It's alright" he said i nodded .
"Wanna go to Ponyboy's house?" johnny asked
"Yeah!" I said over and over jumping up and down. He smiled he took my hand we walked to the curtis's house. I saw sodapop and darry, Mr. cuirts, steve playing football we walked over.
"Hey Mia, hey Johnny" Mr. Curtis said.
Johnny is 10 years old.
"Hi!" I said.
"Hello." johnny said.
I ran to sodapop hugging him.
"Hey Mia." He said.
"Hi soda." I said. I ran inside saw ponyboy and Mrs. Curtis.
I ran over.
"Hi!" I said with a smile.
"Hello, would you like some lemonade?" she asked.
"Please" I said.
She gave me a cup.
"Thank you! Ponboy wanna come play tag with me?" I asked
"Yeah." he said. I set the cup down and we ran i turned and hit his arm lightly.
"Your it!" and ran
We ran around playing.
Pony was almost about to get me i ran straight into something i fell back
I looked up and sad darry i giggled.
"Sorry" i said.
"Its okay" he said i smiled so did he
I got up.
"Tag your it!" Pony said.
"No fair!" I said.
It started to get dark
Soda, Steve, Darry, Johnny played tag with pony and I.
"Come in side!" Mrs. Curtis called for us we walked in.
"Can I stay the night please?" I asked.
"Of course, " she said.
"Ponyboy let's watch a movie!" I said
"Yeah!" He said
We ran to the tv we put in Bambi
By half the movie we Were asleep
I woke up on sodapop and Ponyboy bed i left and walked to the living room.
Mr. Curtis was writing something I ran up and sat next to him
"W-What are you doing?" I asked.
"Bills" he told me.
"What's a b-be-"
"Bill" He said helping me
"Bill? What's a Bill?" I asked.
He explained to me everything.
"My small brain can't handle all this" I said a roar of laughter came from the living room. He chuckled Mrs. Curtis came in.
"Do you know how to do a biwell" I said
"Bill? Yes" she said.
"Whoa" I said she smiled.
I walked into the living room
"What were you laughing about?" I asked.
"Nothin" soda said
"Not true! You had to be laughing about something" I said.

I crossed my arms and started to giggle.
"Where's two-bit?" I asked.
"Not sure" darry said
"Oh, can we play outside?" I asked
"Sure common steve" sodapop said
"Yay!!" I said running outside.
"What are we gonna play?" Sodapop asked
"Hide and seek!" I said. "I hide you seek!"
"Alright" soda said "Steve we count to 30" sodapop said
Soda closed his eyes covering Steve's with his hands I ran and hid.
I watched Steve and soda walked around looking for me.
I saw soda get closed I giggled
"Steve know where she is?" Soda asked
Steve looked over at me then soda shaking his head I giggled Soda walked away Calling my name
"BOO!" Some yelled from behind me making we scream it was Steve
"Found you!" He said
"Your turn to hide!" I said
I closed my eyes counted to 30 with sodapop
"How old are you again?" Soda asked
"I'm 9" I said
He nodded
"Let's go find steve"soda said
I nodded we looked everywhere
"Soda I can't find him!" I said.
"Me neither" soda said.
I ran inside and saw Steve sitting on the couch.
"Hey! You can't hide inside!" I Said
"Sorry forgot"he said
"Sodas time to hide!" I said
Steve came out.
"Where were you?" Soda asked laughing.
"Inside." Steve said
Soda laughed.
"Soda you hide now go" I said "no going inside" I said
He nodded. We counted to 30, by the time at lunch every one was put here playing hide and see. We went inside and ate sandwiches.
"Do you really think it's a good idea, already 3 boy" Mr. Curtis said
"Yes I do, they need us" Mrs. Curtis said
"Need what?" I asked
"Nothing sweetheart, go out side have darry get you some more lemonade" she said I nodded I ran off
I drank the rest of my lemonade
"Y/n!" Stern angry voice called
"I-I gotta go g-guys, bye see you later..." I said, it was my mom.
Steve and soda walked up with me to my mom.
"Bye soda, Bye steve" I said I have them a hug
I my mom grabbed my by the wrist pulling my I tumbled forward .
"Hey!" A voice said
I looked back it was darry he was stating in-front if my mom he grabbed me not like my mom. I got behind darry I poked my head out behind him
"Get er back!" She yelled someone grabbed me from behind.
Two-bit
"Two-Bit!" I yelled hugging him
"Give er back NOW!" Mama yelled
"Why's Mama yellin And darry?" I asked
He picked me up took me inside
"Don't worry" he said
Johnny and Ponyboy walked in I got up
"I best go with her, she'll beat me up real bad if I don't" I said
"Bye Mrs and Mr Curtis" I said
"Bye" they said
I walked outside
Darry was still in p of my mom. I walked over to her
"Darry I best go" I said
He kinda nodded staring at my mom he kneeled down and looked at me
"If you need anywhere to go we're here" he said. I nodded. Mama pulled my
Mumbling
"You stupid bitch, fuckin dumb ass, worthless no good idiot"
We got home she threw me on the ground and kicked me she hit me over and over and left the house I ran to my room started to cry in my pillow. I curled into a ball soon I went down stairs and jumped up for the phone I called the Curtis house
"Hello?" Someone asked it was
Mr. Curtis
"Hi, mommy just left, I'm alone and I'm scared" I said
"I'll send soda and Pony over" he said
"Thank you" I said I hung up
There was a nock at the door
"It's sodapop" The voice said "and pony" another one said I ran to the door I opened it
"Thank you for coming" I said
"No problem" soda said
We walked to the park
