The two teens stand on the roof of the rotting hotel, Rowan watching numbly as Peter peers through the window, his longing eyes following each of Liz's carefree movements. Spider-Man sighs. Stepping back from the window, he tightens the straps on his backpack. Peter puts on the mask, a brief glow expanding from the spider emblem on his chest.

"Good evening, Peter."

The boy, stunned, stutters, "h-hello?"

"Uh, hi?" Rowan responds with furrowed brows, unaware of the robotic voice inside her friend's suit.

"Congratulations on completing the rigorous Training Wheels Protocol and gaining access to your suit's full capabilities."

"Ah, thank you."

"You're welcome?" The human girl retorts, "I don't know what I did.. but.."

"No, not you. There's this.. lady talking to me from inside the mask." Peter replies.

"A lady... inside your suit?"

"Yes.. here, listen." The boy takes her hand gently, noting the weird tingling sensation shooting up his arm with her touch, and drags her so she was nearly inches from his ear.

"So where would you like to take me tonight?"

"Holy shit, that's awesome!" The girl cries.

Peter chuckles, enjoying her dimpled smile, before speaking to the robot, "S, I, I, put a tracker on someone. He's a bad guy."

"Tracker located." The woman calculates the coordinates that leads to the enemies, "Plotting course to intercept target."

"Okay, well, as long as we make it back in time for Decathlon, it's fine." The boy adds, nodding at Rowan, "Row, this is your last chance to back out-I seriously-"

"Jesus, you get on my nerves." The girl interrupts grimly, "now let's go, we're on a tight schedule."
With a sigh, the Peter follows closely behind his crush as they use their respective powers to land safely on a semi-truck, a nauseas feeling in the pit of the girl's stomach as they start their dangerous trek to capture some illegal weapon dealers.

The cold night air blew past the teens, leaving Rowan's hair a tangled mess behind her shoulders. They remain crouched on top of a truck, the dark sky playing a key in their incognito mode.

"One hundred meters from destination and closing."

"Okay, Rowan, we're close by. When I saw jump, jump." Peter instructs, earning him a nod in response.

"Jump now."

"Jump!"

The duo leap off the fast moving vehicle and land stealthily in a grass bank, Rowan's ribs screaming in protest; but she, nonetheless, continues to run through the tall roots until they reached an abandon gas station.

"Detecting three individuals."

"Why is their secret lair in a gas station? That's so lame." Peter whispers, turning to a wincing Rowan, "on my cue, we head up that sign."

She nods, balling her hands into fists. The boy counts down before signaling for them to make their move. Swiftly, the two teens use their abilities to land safely on top of the dimly lit gas price sign. Rowan sighs, dusting off her jeans, "now what?"

"Hey, suit lady," starts Peter, "what are they doing?"

"Do you want to hear what they're saying?" The monotonous voice responds.
