Chapter 2 - Pairing

(Time skip a week)

'At the end of the lesson I will tell you the pairs for the trip to Spain. I was surprised that the whole class actually managed to take the letter home and give it to your parents. So luckily everybody is coming!' Sir smiled. 'Normally I find letters shoved into bins.'

'I hope I'm with you!' Peej smiled, me and Peej have gotten quite close over the past week, he is probably my best friend. But I'd have thought he'd want to go with Chris for the trip?

'Same.' I smiled, I looked at Chris who was glaring in our direction, I smiled but he just turned away. Maybe they had an argument...

We finished the class work and sir began reading the pairs.

'Abbie and Sabrina, Georgia and Francis, Tyler and George,'

'With the fucking nerd, great.' Tyler muttered, that's a little harsh.

'Be nice, Chris and Peej, Louise and Tanya, Dan and Phil, Ester and Kate..' Sir continued.

I glanced at my partner who slumped down in his chair looking annoyed. I wasnt that bad... I know why he didn't like me, Peej and him used to be best friends, but when he came out as gay Phil flipped and bullied him. Since then he has hated the whole group.

'Ok get into your pairs and quickly arrange a day you can meet to start research. The trip is three weeks away so we need to do some background research but as we only have an hour a week you need to meet up at least once a week alone.'

I moved over to where Phil was sitting. Tyler stood and walked away grumpily to George so I sat in his chair.

'Hey.' I smiled.

'Hi.' Phil grumbled. 'So basically your doing the work, yeh?'

'No.' I responded. I wasn't scared of him and I didn't want to do it as much as he did.

'Dick.' He grumbled. 'Well come to my house this Friday then, meet at the bottom of the gates.'

'Ok.' I smiled. As the bell rang.

I walked away towards Peej who looked slightly annoyed.

'Whats up?' I whispered as Chris walked ahead.

'Chris is being such a twat.' Peej moaned.

'How so?'

'He is getting funny about the fact I said I wanted to be with you.'

'Its because I am sexier?' I struck a pose and winked.

'Faggots.' I heard Tyler mutter walking past us with Dan sniggering. Making me blush slightly.

'Ignore them.' Peej laughed, as we walked to our next lesson.

Time skip to Friday.

I was nervous, I was going to a guys house who used to bully Peej, and occasionally still does.

I was in geography, thank god he didn't do that. I sat with Louise as she was the only person I knew in this lesson and we talked about how much we love one direction and who we'd most likely fuck.

'Harry is always gonna be my favourite.' Louise winked, stroking the computer screen as a photo of Harry was up.

'Zayn all the way.' I replied, licking my lips making her giggle.

The bell rang and my heart started to beat faster. I started getting used to walking half home with Troye, a boy in my physics class. So going to the gate and meeting Phil will be strange.

I got there to see Phil chatting to a group of girls with Tyler. I walked over, awkwardly and Tyler looked down on me.

'What are you doing here, faggot?' He laughed making a few girls giggle, as they used there fingers to curl the end of there hair in unison.

'Hes sadly - having to come to my house. How peak.' Phil laughed. Making me feel uncomfortable. After about ten minutes, Phil finally started walking and I followed behind him.

'Keep up.' He grumbled and I did, walking to catch up with him.

We walked in silence as he texted and I had my headphones in. Once we reached his house he mumbled something.

'Sorry what?' I spoke taking out my headphones,

'I said are you hungry?' He smiled slightly.

'Yeh..'

'Ok - er we have..' He walked through to the kitchen.

'Fruit over there, I can make you some toast. If you are really hungry I can put a pizza in for us to share.' He turned giving me a large smile.
