After being checked i and settled in my room i had nurses coming in and out getting me set up with machines and IVs. The machine that made me most happy was the machine monitoring the baby. As time went on during my labor contractions were strong and my body felt like it was on fire the whole time.
When the nurses came in with all the equipment for birth and told me it was time i absolutely started fearing everything that was happening around me and what was about to happen.
Within minutes of the nurses coming in with the equipment, I was doing the struggle of pushing and pain to get the baby out. An hour of pushing later I had welcomed my baby girl into the world. She was a beauty, her eyes a cognac brown color, her hair dark brown like mine. I named her Leila which means dark beauty. The only odd thing that i realized was that there were no defects at all besides her birthmark which was almost in the shape of a pentagram. The birthmark did scare me a little, but at the same time i knew it was only a birthmark and that would not do any harm.
