{ Chapter 4 }

The entire weeks I even didn't saw the shadows of the strange people, also known as Taehyung, Namjoon, and the one who really creep me out, Jungkook. Even Jimin and Hoseok wasn't there. It only got me thinking they were even more strange because they all suddenly weren't there. 

Another odd thing was that I felt someone was watching me. In school, I was sure someone followed me everywhere I went. It sounded like a second pair of footsteps were following me on hallways there were empty for other people, but every time I turned around and looking in the sound's direction I saw no one. First I just started thinking it was something I imagined because I was scared of someone would hurt me, but then I began hearing footsteps behind me on my ways home and I began getting really scared. Every day I almost ran home and I never went outdoor when it was dark. I even locked my bedroom door before I went to sleep.

It was a really dark, rainy day today. I was on my way home from school and I luckily remembered my umbrella earlier today. Almost no cars drove past me. The silent sound of rain flowing down into the sewers was the only thing I could hear, or was it? I began hearing the mysteries, creepy footsteps again. I quickly turned around and for the hundredth time, I still didn't saw anyone. I started speeding up. I wanted to get home as soon as possible. 'Before anything will happen'. 

Finally, my apartment was in front of my eyesight. I began to fumble with my keys and unlocked the door. I sighed as I stepped indoor and closed the door again. I put my keys on the small kitchen table and put the bag and umbrella in its place as I slipped down on a chair. I rubbed my eyes as I felt how tired I actually was. The last couple of days I had used to complete an assignment which for sure had taken all my energy. 

I decided just to grab some snacks and then go to sleep. As I lay in bed and closed my eyes, not many seconds passed before I had already fallen asleep. But I still felt the weird gaze on me.

My body was shaking. I was scared, really scared. I opened my eyes from a really bad nightmare. Tears have left my eyes and were now dried on my cheeks. My breath was unstable as I tried to get it under control again. 'Okay, take it easy Ace... It was just a nightmare', I thought to myself. 

Then a sound of something creaking was heard in the corner of my room. My heart jumped in shock and I immediately looked in the sound's direction. I thought I should die then I saw the shape of a shadow. My heart was now pumping really fast but I didn't move a muscle. My eyes stared at the shadow, but I still couldn't see the owner. 'Be brave!' 

Slowly I began moving out of the bed. My feets landed on the cold floor and a chill crept up. I got up from the bed and as quietly as I could and I found a book, which I left on my little bedside table. I began quietly to list over the floor towards the light switch with the book raised as a weapon. The whole time I had my eyes at the shadow and it didn't move.

One meter away from reaching the light switch I turned around and jumped toward it. The light turned on and soon the whole room was in color again. I looked towards the place I saw the strange shadow, but no one was there. I furrowed my eyebrows and walked towards the corner. 

I looked at the floor but saw nothing strange. It was first when I saw the window was open, I realized something was really wrong. 'I have never in my whole life opened this window?!' I began trembling cause this was kinda creepy! 

I stuck my head out of the window and looked around, but nothing was there to see. I was about to close the window then a light caught my eyes. I looked up and saw two shining dots not so far from my apartment. I squeezed my eyes as I tried focusing on the two dots. And then I saw what it was. 'I'm starting to become crazy!?' 

I shut the window immediately and ran to my bed to cover up in my blankets. 'It can't be true!', I thought to myself as I began hugging the blankets even tighter. 'Was it really Kim Taehyung I saw?'
