"Boo!"

I jumped out of my skin at the loud shout. I let my heart beat slow and returned to walking forwards. I heard Aiden run up to my side, and I could feel his eyes burning through the side of my head.

"What's with you? Normally I get a spazzed reaction," he said with a raised eyebrow.

I shrugged, not looking at him nor saying anything in respone. I kicked at a stone on the sidewalk as I walked down to my car. I slipped into the driver's seat, Aiden climbing in on the other side. I could still feel him looking at me, but I made no reaction as I zoomed off down the road.

"Peyton," he said softly.

I made no answer.

"Peyton," he repeated, this time a little louder.

I made no answer.

"Peyton!" he shouted, placing his arm on my shoulder.

I shrugged him off, glaring at him with furious eyes, "I am trying to drive!" I screeched, returning my eyes back to the road.

Aiden huffed, and I stared at him curiously as he glanced at the steering wheel. I was just about to ask what he was thinking when he lashed his hands out. He grasped onto the steering wheel, jutting it to the right towards the side of the road. I let out a squeal, releasing the wheel as Aiden slammed the gear shift into park.

The car screeched to a stop, sending me forwards then launching me backwards against the seat. I let out a curse as my head whiplashed against the head rest. I turned to Aiden, "Are you trying to get us killed! What the hell is wrong with you!"

"What the hell is wrong with you!" he shouted back, his eyes narrowed with a look of anger in them.

I sighed, running my tongue over my lips. "I am not dealing with this," I muttered as I reached for the gear shift. Aiden's hand stopped mine, preventing me from changing the gear into drive. I looked up at him, letting out a sigh. "Aiden," I whispered, biting my lip once I realized how weird it sounded to call him by his actual name.

"Peyton," he retorted, but this time his voice was soft, almost heavenly.

I swallowed, "I'd like to get home, that's all."

Aiden just continued to stare straight at me, "Why?"

I scoffed, "I need a reason?"

"Yes, you do."

I rolled my eyes, "AJ, I'm tired, I've had a rough day, and I'd like to get home before I scream at someone or drive my car into a brick wall, okay? Okay," I finished, once again reaching for the gear shift.

Once again, Aiden's hand stopped mine. Before I could even sigh, he was speaking, "A rough day? What about your day was rough?"

I pursed my lips, getting impatient with him, "It just was, is that okay with you?" I spat, my voice elevating with each word.

"It doesn't have to be okay with me!" he shouted, "I just want to make sure it's okay with you!"

I let out a hysteric laugh, "If it was okay with me then we'd be home already! Now let go!" I screamed, fumbling to break free of his grasp.

He fought back, not letting me come anywhere near the gear shift. "If you were okay we wouldn't be in this prediciment!" he yelled.

"Maybe it isn't your concern!"

"Maybe you should just own up to it and tell me what the hell is going on!"

"Maybe I slept with the teacher!" I blurted, my voice as loud as it could go. Tears burned my eyes, and I released his grasp and leaned against the steering wheel. My body shook as I banged my forehead against the leather wheel, "I messed up," I choked, "It wasn't my fault!" I tried, not wanting him to think of me as a whore once again.
