A Leap From The Past

LILY'S POV

All of us were waiting for rose at the entrance of hogsmeade. A lot of people were giving us weird looks and James and Sirius weren't helping in this situation by sticking out their tongues at random people .
Idiots... total idiots, I thought to myself while rubbing my head

" Sorry for the wait " Rose came towards us. She was wearing a crop top and shorts and sneakers with her ginger coloured hair tied up in a tight pony tail. In short she was looking very pretty. But something was wrong with her face especially her eyes , they were red as if she was crying before coming here

" Are you alright? " I asked her in concern

" What?... Oh yeah definitely, just slept a little late at night " she said with a small smile

" You shouldn't be up till late night rose " Ron said in a sort of fatherly way

" Well unlike you Ron some people stay up late to study. Right? " Hermione said while folding her arms

" Yeah... Ummm. Anyways  Let's go to three broomsticks and I'll answer all your questions "

We went inside the three broomsticks.  It was a little changed, fresh and more airy. 

" Let's go to the next floor " rose said as she made her way towards a staircase at the corner

" There's another floor here? " I asked excitedly

" Yep and it's air conditioned "  she said and we followed her

" What's air conditioned ?" Sirius asked

Rose opened the door and and all of us went inside and suddenly it very cold.  There was some kind of thing on the walls through which cool air was coming from

" What's that? " I asked curiously while pointing my finger towards the weird thing

" That's an air conditioner. Usually used during the hot summer's. It blows cool air which keeps the room cold and dry " rose said in hushed tone

" it's a muggle thing right? " Ron asked

" Yes it is "

All of us went and sat on the largest table

" 9 butterbeers please " rose gave our order

" Now ask what you want " rose said while looking at all of us

"  What happened to Dumbledore. I mean where is he? " Harry asked the first question

" He's dead " rose said monotonously

"  Great...  OK but how? " Sirius said

" Just before the second wizarding war the potions professor Severus Snape killed him "

"  I knew snape was evil " Harry said angrily

We continued asking questions like how much has Hogwarts changed, and how come the Gryffindors and Slytherins have a great relationship and were shocked to know the reason which was good. I wish this relationship was present in our time too but never mind.  Apart from us there there were few fifth year students and mostly fourth years students.

" How about we go and check out the shrieking shack?  Wonder how much it must have changed. " James said

" Hmm seems like a good idea. Harry and Ron why don't you join us ?"

" ya sure " they both replied

" Are you girls coming? " Remus asked us

" Nah you guys go ahead " ginny said
