Everyone must've had a good time with the person they love, giving cards with something out of love, flowers, and chocolates of different types and whatevers inside(Hopefully, cherry or caramel). At first I really liked Valentine's day, getting free chocolate and giving cards to my crush. I used to celebrated it alot with Isabella. It was like a mandatory thing to me in the past, since I had to pick out things like teddy bears or cards. Liz hated chocolate so that wasn't a option.
Years after her death, however. I forget about Valentine's day and had to be reminded by everyone I walk around, giving gifts to their loved one. Nowadays, its just another day for me, So I don't really care now.I will try to enjoy it with friends and family but if alone, I'll just focus on other things.
Anyway, heres some advice from a loveless man. If you can't find someone you love, then love yourself. Give yourself chocolate or a pizza. I know that sounds selfish but if that person you love is too far or doesn't care about you, then do things for yourself. Make yourself happy, don't let loneliness at a time of love put you in a state of sadness.
