Aaron's POV
I woke up to my alarm going off.
After I turned it off, I flipped my phone over so I couldn't see the lock screen. I didn't want to see 'no' next to Olivia's name.
I want her back, but I can understand why she doesn't want me back. But I'm going to try my hardest to show her how much I regret being an idiot and that I really do love her.
I should've told her I love her. I basically did, but basically isn't the same as saying the word, and she deserves to be loved and know that she is.
My phone buzzed and I closed my eyes again, my heart racing. Please don't say no. Please don't say no.
I grabbed the phone and lifted it up, looking at the text.
Giancarlo: Get your ass out of bed. Baseball will distract you from that mess in your head
Keep bringing it up and it'll stay on my mind, stupid.
But I listened. I got out of bed and got myself together, checked for a text from Olivia, ate breakfast, checked again, then went to the stadium.
When I checked my phone at noon, I still didn't have a text from Olivia.
Maybe she really doesn't want to go with me. Who can blame her? I'm the dumb ass who thought that the angel he was dating cheated on him even though she spent the majority of her time eating, sleeping, working, or at Fenway.
I'm an idiot, but what else is new?
It's weird, knowing that I've gone through an injury, and more than my expected healing time and I still can't play. And I haven't had Olivia by my side for any of it.
Now I can move around freely without worrying if my hand was gonna hit my wrist on something and be out for even longer.
I scrolled through Instagram, looking at the 833 people I follow, a majority who don't even post since they're playing baseball a lot of the time.
Olivia was probably the most active out of everyone, and for good reason. She's gorgeous and she's so happy, and I think people deserve to see a happy and beautiful woman.

I got her that bear. She told me how much she loved sleeping with it when we weren't together. There was one time when she brought it on one of their road trips and the guys made fun of her for it, but she was happy.
