... its sorta like.. uh... A side.. hug?
He doesnt nornally hug you cause he's afraid he might hurt you but if he does.. Cherish it. It usually lasts for 3 seconds..

Twilight:

It's a rough but gentle hug. He does this to show how much he loves you. But from time to time... It gets annoying.....

Hyrule Warriors:

It's a bear hug. He'll run up to you and lift you off your feet. The first time he did it, you screamed thinking someone was kidnapping you. He hugged you from behind.

BoTW:

Sometimes you have to initiate the hug. So that he would play attention to you more than the food that he's cooking.

Four Swords:

Its a gentle hug. They too precious sometimes.

Fierce Deity:

He... didnt know what a hug was. So you had to teach him. After that he hugged 24/7.. Yeah...

Dark Link:

He legit. Picks you up. Leans back so that you both fall down. And when you still dont know whats happening. He climbs on you and sits on your thighs. You look at him dumbfounded as if he was on steroids.
