Another chance at the apocalypse

Continuing my prep

Landon's POV

When I finally get back to my apartment I checked my phone again at it was already 11:32 pm when I see I got another text.

(You have been out playing all day you must be tired make sure you lock your doors. And don't answer the door to strangers. ~A)

I feel like as much as these messages are creepy they feel like a mother hen keeps pecking at me telling me all of the things I need to do that I forgot. I get off the couch and lock the door and then I fall onto my bed and fell asleep. As I'm drifting off I think 'I still need to get weapons before the apocalypse starts, ah! and I'll need to get a sturdier car,the plastic thing I have now will break if I hit a non evolved zombies, I don't even want to think about hitting a evolved one. I'll order a few cars and lots of car parts tomorrow and see if I can order the weapons off the black market.' Alex was always able to fix cars we picked up when the apocalypse started so I don't have to worry about that at lest.

That morning I woke up and went to a car dealership and got a few sturdy cars that looked more like a tank and asked them to deck it out with bullet proof glass and steel plates to cover everything else.

A few days passed like this just going out buying lots of things I needed.

After a while I woke up and started my routine of exercising then going in to my space and seeing everything that I threw inside neatly organized into piles then I call out to the little light ball.
"Little light come here" I call could in a gentle tone.
{master! You came back to see little light, little light is so happy!}
"Hello little light I need you to make the pens and keep planting the seeds I give you."
{Okie dokie master!}
"I need the pens to take up a mile and they need to have grass and water in there pen. The plants will take up the other 1 and a mile but don't try and use all of the same seed to cover the area because I'm going to get even more types than just these."
{ok master!}

I leave the space satisfied that I can start to plant and get animals soon it would also be fun if I can keep bees so I can have honey, but I'll need them regardless of the honey or not. Without bees there will be no pollination which means no plants will bloom. I look at the time and it already noon so I giddily walk out of the apartment and go get some lunch. And I hear the *ping* that my phone makes when I get a new text and I look to see who it is.

(What's got you in such a good mood? You just brightened my whole day with your smile. What's the plan for today? Are you staying out late again? You should go home early this time you might get a into one of those street brawl that happens at night. I don't want you to get hurt. ~A)

I look around and I still don't see anyone 'Weird, but they aren't hurting me let's just let them be.' I thought as I greedily ate some food. Now let's see what else do I need I went over to a farmers market is a more rural part of town and got a lot of vegetables and a lot of seeds and discretely put the in my space as I went along. I got a notification that my rice and flour had been shipped so I headed to the warehouse and quickly put them in my space and I went in there to tell little light what're to put everything.

"Little light" I called out.
{Hello master!}
"I need you to make sure that food like this goes into the space on this side that doesn't let things rot and when those plants produce food it need to go into that aside ok?" I asked slowly to make sure that the little light thing understood.
{okie dokie master!}
'Why do I feel like the ball of light doesn't understand?' I thought ironically.
"Just make sure they aren't too green when you put them into the other space"
{what's too green?} the little light asked if a puzzled tone.
'That's what I thought'
"Just ask me to look at them when you seen them start to grow ok."
{Ok master! Then come and see!}
'They can't have already grown something it only been a few days since I showed that ball of light how to plant and what about my bees?! Well regardless I'm still getting them they are fuzzy and adorable and they make sweet honey, I'm getting off topic' I thought as I shook my head to concentrate on what I'm saying.
"Take me to them then"
{right this way master!}
The little light takes me to the field and there were things actually in bloom they hadn't started to give any vegetation yet but they where close.
"Little light what have you been giving these things!" I asked in astonishment.
{little light has just been taking care of them like master told and poof they did this!}

I look around at the many plants that are starting to bloom there are cherry trees, strawberry's, bananas, grape vines, cucumbers, squash, watermelon, cantaloupe, and so many more that shouldn't even be blooming now let alone in season. Hell half of these plants shouldn't be able to survive next to each other. 'Maybe I can plant pineapples too and coco beans, vanilla beans, all the flippin' beans! Along with so many others things!' I thought excitedly.

'I need to lookup how to make coco beans into powder so I can make chocolate.' I though as I started to drool after the apocalypse there was of course no chocolates being produced, my guilty pleasure disappeared without a trace. 'I was crying over that for three years.' I remembered bitterly. 'Ah I bet others would pay top dollar to get things like chocolate, alcohol, and tobacco after the apocalypse starts.' Maybe I'll just get some of those luxury things so I'll have something more to trade with if I need to.

'I will also need to plant sugar beats and vanilla beans as well ah! if only I could make ice then I could even make ice cream' I thought whimsically.

"Hey little light can you make ice?" I asked not really expecting an answer.
{what's that master?}
"Frozen water."
{why does master want frozen water??}
"So I can make ice cream."
{is ice cream yummy??}
"It is very yummy."
{I can! I can make ice! After little light helps master can little light have some?!} light light ask excitedly.
'Does this ball of light even need to eat anything, wait can it even eat?' I thought.
"Sure?" I said but it came out as more of a question.
{then master has to drink lot of water from here. Lot and lots so little light can get a body and can have the ice cream!}
"What does the water have to do with you getting a body?"
{If master drinks and drinks and drinks lots of the spring water here then little light will get a body because you will have lots of spiritual energy the space will bigger and bigger too!}
"So how much water will I need to drink for that to happen?"
{200 gallons}
"... ... Excuse me how much I must have miss heard you."
{200 gallons}
I sighed that's a lot of water but in theory I could do it in less that a year if I drink a gallon a day.
"Wait then how much do I have to drink if I want to have animals in here?"
{well you have to drink half it's weight in the water}
'Well that's not too bad if I just get baby animals' I think.
"Does the water I drink only count for one thing at a time or does the water collectively count towards the total weight?"
{as longs as you have drank the total weight of the animal, then you can use the amount of water that you have already drank to help add up for the next animal.}
'Well this has been helpful' think to myself.
"How much water have a drank so far?"
{Almost 60 gallons, you are almost half way there don't give up on my body, master!}
"Then I'll keep at it and there will be lots of animals here soon!" I said excitedly.

I hop out of my space and looked at the time it's already around 4 I decided to work out again then eat dinner, I still need to learn more dishes to make. I started to look online for some recipes and found a few that I wanted to try so I thought why not try all of the and have some ready made dishes for on the road. That reminds me I will need to figure out which villa I will revamp for the apocalypse. I'll need to look at the villas I have that way I can just sell the rest of them, just the one is good enough.

I pulled myself out of my thoughts when I hear another *ping* of my phone

I read the message and my heart ache a little Alex called me kitten. 'If I get rid of my phone 'A' will have no way to talk to me right?' I thought 'maybe I'll just get rid of it and just use my laptop to order things to the warehouse. I went over to my laptop and went to look at the geographical location of all of the villa and saw how big they where and if they where near any major city's. After looking for hours I picked one, it was a villa that was taken over by other people because nobody claimed it in the first three months of the apocalypse, it was in the major city that made the giant wall that me and Alex moved to later. I called my lawyer and told him to sell the other villas for the best price he could get I looked back at the screen at the villa that will soon be mine and Alex's home and sighed a happy sigh.

As those thoughts passed though my head I slowly drifted to sleep.
