Chapter Three

Cap'n Cuttlefish: That's very odd.

Marina: Harnessing the power from Golden Salmonoid Eggs? Not even the Octarian Army would have thought of that.

Cama had her phone plugged into Mariana's laptop and was showing everyone her recording of the B-Bot.

She paused the video.

Cama: Right here.

She pointed at the cracked Salmonoid Egg inside the metal bear. It was just barely visible.

Cama: I thought maybe we could ink the eggs 'till they explode, but...

Marie: But??

Cama: Golden Salmonoid Eggs are almost indestructible. Sean and I did an article on them. They appear to only crack with electricity.

Marina: But it was wired to B-Bot, as a power source. The shield had up only gone down when I hacked the B-Bot.

Callie: Ah, an overload?

Marina: Bingo.

Cama: Hmm

Cama: It just doesn't add up.

Cama rewinded the video and paused on the point where the shield went down.

Cama slowed it down frame by frame.

Cama: Oh my god.

The electric pulse showed the inside of the bear, even the egg.

Out of the egg were many antennas sticking out.

Marina: Ofcourse! The power from the egg can't be directly pulled out! It has to be sucked out! Otherwise, the egg would crack!

Cama and Marina jumped up in joy.

Four scratched his head, he didn't understand anything right now.

Cap'n Cuttlefish: So.. the Ocavians aren't behind this?

Three shook her head.

Three: It's all Mr. Grizz for now. Unless more evidence comes out.

Eight: Oh! I know! Let's show it to Octavio!

Three: What? Why?

Eight: He might recognize the technology if it is Octavian.

Callie: Eight sweetie, Octavio is at the Canyon. It's almost a day's travels.

Marie: Especially since the drain was removed ever since Inkoplis square became a ghost town.

Four: Are we sure he's even still there?

Cap'n Cuttlefish: I go and check on him every now and then. He was there a week ago.

Marina: Oh, I set up a camera there.

Marina accessed the camera on her laptop.

A sleeping Octavio was on screen.

Three: Whew. Still there.

Cap'n Cuttlefish: Octavio! Wake up!!!!

Marina: Hehe, he can't hear you Cap'n.

Pearl: Well, what are we waiting for?

Callie: Yeah, I'm up for traveling there.

Marie: Callie you were just complaining two minutes ago.

Four: Yeah! Squidbeak!

Eight: Yay! We're gunna have lots of fun!

Cap'n Cuttlefish: [I sure am tired.]

Marina: Okay then.

Three: Go us.

Cama: I'm here too.

Cama's phone suddenly rang, disrupting the team spirit.

Cama: It's Sean.

Cama seemed upset.

Marie: Cama just tell him you have a secret vacation planned or something.

Cama answered the call.

Sean: Cama? Where are you? I got the most amazing clip!

Cama: Sean?

Sean: Yeah Cama?

Cama: I uhh....

Everyone was motioning towards her, telling Cama to tell him.

Cama: I love you Sean.

Sean: Hehe. I love you too, Cama.

Cama: I'm coming home now.

Cama: Bye.

Sean: See you soon.

Cama hung up and screamed.

Callie: Cama it's okay!

Cama: It's not! I really, really, REALLY wanted to help.

Pearl: Geez it's okay, go do your show. The rest of us will handle this.

Four: Yeah Cama, it's nothing interesting yet anyways.

Cama: Hmmm...

Cama let out a sigh and nodded.

Cama: Okay. Good luck guys.

She walked out, waved and smiled, and off she went.

Four: Cama is cute.

Three smacked him.

Three: She has a boyfriend, Four.

Four: Ow! And???

Three punched him.

Everyone laughed, except the Cap'n, who was now asleep.

Sean: What's up Inklantis City!!!

Cama: We have some crazy news today. Sean?

Sean looked at his phone. His eyes widened.

Sean: Scratch that, there's something even better now!

Sean cleared his throat.

Sean: The secret is out. Grizzco has been illegally using Golden Salmanoid Eggs and Human Bones in a horrifying experiment to bring them back. It appears Mr. Grizz has denied all the claims, and does not want any interviews.

Cama: What?! HUMAN BONES???

She ran off the set and started calling Three.

Sean: ...

Sean: Inklantis City, we'll be right back.

Sean: Cama? What the heck was the about?

Cama walked away from Sean as he spoke. She motined for him to go away, but he kept walking towards her.

She finally got off the phone.

Sean: Who was that.

Cama: A friend...

Sean: hmmm..

Cama: Okay, let's finish today's show...

Sean: Yeah. Let's.

Three: Cama said the employee stayed anonymous.

Marie: That's crazy! Humans?!?

Everyone was shocked. Could this strange new technology actually bring the humans back?
