she wasn't being dragged against her will to a party. nope. but she acted as if it was that way.
"i don't even know why you made me come to this stupid party."
"correction, i didn't make you. come on, everyone was invited."
she rolled her eyes. "i thought you hated the cool kids."
"sure i do, but free food? are you fucking serious? who in their right mind would turn that down!"
laura smiled and prayed that the party would be decent enough to play good music and not spike the drinks with, like, alcohol or something.
she was blessed with no such thing.
