She was staring up at him with amused eyes, probably waiting for a response. She never got one, instead he grinned and took her bag. "Hey!" Laura exclaimed with laughter. "What do you think you're doing?"
Kwensi shrugged. "If I can't have my umbrella, I'm having your bookbag."
"Oh, give it back." She reached for her bag, but they both knew she was too short. He didn't even need to hold it up higher for her to struggle.
