A white she-cat with shinning stars surrounding her, crouched and gazed at a pool. She saw a smokey-gray she-cat running away in fear as a battle-scared brown tom chased her out of the pine forest. The white she-cat sighed, a magnificent golden tabby tom with thick fur like a lion's mane padded up next to her.
"Are you alright?" The starry tom asked.
The she-cat looked up at him with sad blue eyes. "Yes I'm fine. I'm just worried about her." She meowed terrified.
The golden tabby tom crouched down next to her and gazed at the pool to see a young kit trembling with fear in an outstretched tree root, to make it look like a den. The smokey-gray she-cat whimpered in grief as she curled up to sleep. The sun began to sink and sunset became night. "She is strong, she will survive." He reassured her.
The starry white she-cat pressed against him sighing in worry. "I hope you're right." She murmured.
