"Mom!" Cinder wailed. She couldn't believe that her mother was now dead.
"Get out of here kit! You will also be killed if you stay!" Growled Clawface.
Cinder ran away she didn't want to meet these cats again. The only cat that had been kind was Blackpaw, but she couldn't be here. She had lost her mother and now she wanted to find who her father really was. She glanced back to see Blackpaw looking at her with shame in his amber eyes. She looked back in front of her to see the Thunderpath. Cinder glanced back with sorrow in her crystal blue eyes.
'Why had they killed her and who is my father?' She asked in her mind.
Cinder didn't know what to do except to try to find out who her father was. She crossed the black path quickly and padded into the lush, green forest, hoping to find a better life in the future.
