I went to turn off the sink, thinking that that would calm Nico down. Not realizing that the sink was the issue in the first place. I reached around the spigot to the handle when this weeping woman thing made its move. Suddenly, a hand grabbed my wrist. One that was not there before. The next thing that I know, the water shuts off on its own and the hand is gone. I hear a faint waile of annoyance and disappointment as a stumble back into the cabinet, clutching my wrist.
Neither one of us slept again that night.
Nor did we move from where we were.
What the heck just happened?
