EPILOGUE

8 YEARS LATER.

ALABANG TOWN CENTER.

It’s finally good to be back to my hometown. Korea’s a nice place but nothing beats the hot sun of the Philippines.

It’s been a busy 8 yeears for me. Our business in Korea really needed a renovation. Daddy was so thankful that I have recovered the company’s bankrupcy. Now, its one of the biggest company in Asia, the JMSP Company.

[King of Anything]

Daddy calling...

I immediately answered my phone. Alam na siguro nila na nakabalik na ako dito.

“Hello Dad?”

“Anak! When did you arrived? Your mom’s worried sick about you.”

“Kahapon lang po. Sorry, jetlag. But I’m okay now.”

“Okay. Just be here tonight ‘cause your mom will cook your favorite dish.”

“Alright Dad! See you later.”

Then I hanged up.

Kahit pala di ako nagsabi, nalaman din naman nila eh. Bodyguards.

I roamed around Alabang Town. Window shopping. I forgot my debit card kasi sa hotel. Sorry, jetlag talaga eh. :P

Habang naglalakad, I remember that I have to buy Haru Muraki books. Yes, books are my bestfriends now. Since puro documents and financial papers ang nakikita ko sa office ko sa Korea.

I entered Powerbooks and scanned from the fiction bookshelves. As I turn to the next corner, I saw a familiar back. Or in my bestfriends’s term na kapag naalala mo ung likod eh, talikogenic.

“R---“ i was about to say a name but then shove it away since it’s impossible that it would be him.
