Ethan pov

Standing to the side of the hall he could hide the smirk on his face as he lent againt the wall watching the students and parents entering. He and his wolf felt satisfaction for the first time in days. The next few minutes were going to be good. Looking at faces he watched as some were held apprehension and there were some who spilled with laughter. What ever the look one thing was for certain they were going to get the big announcement they were expecting... just not the one they wanted. It was the parents who couldn't understand why they had been called here today but when the alpha says attend then you must attend. Even Cam was here.

As the last people filtered through the door Paul nodded his head. Silence. Not one person said a thing, no laughs, no whispers and no one game to move when they realised that at Paul's nod his warriors had closed the doors. When the clicks of the doors locking echoed through the silence the group realised this wasn't something they wanted to hear.

Ethan's wolf paced back and forth as he wanted blood. He knew the moment was coming when he would know exactly who had hurt their beautiful Nellie and he wanted them dead.

As Ethan calmed his wolf and convinced him to sit back and watch the fun he watched as Paul rose to his full height in front of them all.

"As many of you know my son recently found his mate..."

whispers of things such as 'smelly nellie' bounced through the room and under the aplhas seething he called "SILENCE! There will not be one more interruption while I speak; do I make myself clear?"

Nods and whispers of 'Yes Alpha' broke the silence.

For one moment there was nothing and just when Ethan thought he might start hearing crickets Paul had contained his wolf and started speaking again.

"My son found his mate and rejected her. As a father I blame myself but as an alpha I'm disgusted that anyone would reject their mate." His eyes turned to meet Cam "I don't think I can ever remember a moment in my life when I was as disappointed as I am now." He stopped speaking as his sons eyes met his and it was obvious to all that Cam was affected more than he wanted to be. He dropped his eyes in shame.

Ethan couldn't help but smile as his wolf had a sudden urge for popcorn. He'd happily sit back and join him!

Paul looked back to the crowd. "Some of you witnessed the rejection but only one of you stood by Janella. The rest of you disgust me." This brought gasps of surprise then he held up his hand and said "In the words of telemarketing... there's more." He inhaled deeply  before his wolf took over. "Some of you made it your daily fun to torture and belittle Janella to the point where she tried to take her own life."

Cam jumped from his seat "WHAT? WHEN?"

Pauk looked at him in disgust "Sit down Cameron"

"No! She's my mate. I deserve to know...."

"You deserve nothing little boy. You aren't fit to kiss the ground she walks on. You had the chance to be with one of the strongest Luna's in the world and you blew it. What did you blow it for? Your stupid pathetic ego!"

A hand planted firmly on his shoulder by one of the warriors had him taking back control from his wolf "Ethan calm down. Don't let your wolf take over" the warrior lent forward to speak quietly in Ethans ear "This is about to get a whole lot more interesting". The words were said with a smile and as the warrior left him Ethan couldn't help but think of popcorn again.
