We've went six months in the middle of the winter without electricity, we all had to sleep together on the couch pull out bed with a shit ton of blankets. We've had to suck out water from our bath tub with a shop vac for over two years because our plumbing was fucked up and my step dad wouldn't get it fixed. We've been completely infested with fleas and my step dad refused to use bombs to get rid of them.

It's been an absolute hell hole these past 10 years and yet my mom has stayed with him because she loves him.
