I knock on Patton's door.
Nothing.
I walk in to find the window open, a cold breeze howling through the gold curtains.
I look outside to see a figure at the edge of the forest,
On the ground
Still as the dead.
I grip the window sill and thrust myself over it,
Hitting the ground with a loud thud.
Regaining my senses, I dash to the blue clad figure, his grey cardigan rumpled on the cold brown earth.
Morality is unconscious but breathing.
I tie the cardigan around my shoulders over Virgil's hoodie and carefully lift my friend up, trudging towards home.
I set him on another couch near Virgil and make sure there aren't wounds or scratches, there aren't but a few small rings indented into his throat and wrists.
I prepare to go and look for more pieces of myself.
