I open Logan's door, not bothering to knock.
He's on his window sill, his blue tie blowing in the harsh wind and rain.
His room is the only one high enough to be a fatal fall from,
And he knows it.
He hasn't seen or heard me, so I walk up to him and place my hand in his, gripping it tightly as he stops focusing and looks back.
"Hey,"
I say, a sad tear running down my cheek, surprised they've stayed down this long.
"Don't do it."
He looks pitiful, almost ashamed, and with one last word I pull him down.
"Please."
I hug him, not wanting to let go.
He returns it hesitantly and I lead him down to everyone else.
Roman seems worried for Virgil, and Patton is just waking up.
Logan smiles sadly at the sight and we wait for Virgil.
He wakes up thankfully.
I'm grateful for my friends,
My family,
My life,
My world.
I'm thankful for you, who is reading this right now.
Because I wouldn't continue creating if it weren't for the support I get
From my friends and from strangers.
So thank you.
Thank you.
