After they treated my head, I lay there on the gurney waiting. A few moments later a nurse came in with the kit. I took off my clothes and put them into the assorted bags, they swabbed me for any fluids, they took pictures of my bruises and cuts. After the 6 hours of nothing but horror and flashbacks they were finally finished. They sent the kit to SVU. They said they would have to keep me over night for observation because of my head injury. After that they let Olivia come back in. She hugged me. A tear streamed down my face.
Olivia: Hey Amanda. How ya feeling?
Me: I don't know. They have to keep me overnight for observation.
Olivia: Well I'm staying here all night with you. I won't be able to sleep knowing your in the hospital.
Amanda: Thanks Liv..what would I do without you?
Olivia hugged me again. I felt safe knowing Liv would be there with me.
About 30 minutes later, they moved me to my room. I started feeling sleepy from the pain medicine. Olivia sat in the chair next to me. I started drifting off. I fell asleep.
