Lexi's POV
We were in the Great Hall as Dumbledore (once again) gave the announcements for the year.
"A new addition to the school, we will have Alastor Moody step in as the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher,"
Moody walked forward and I saw his fake eye and realised why everyone called him 'Mad Eye' Moody. It seemed like our Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher changes every year. Quirrell died, Lockhart ran away and Lupin resigned.
"This year, it is an honor to have Hogwarts host the Triwizard Tournament. For those of you unfamiliar with the Tournament, three competitors will go through a series of challenges made to test them to the limit. And it is for this reason that the minimum age for entering is 17,"
Groans escaped from everyone who was disappointed. I honestly didn't care.
"I know welcome the students from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and Durmstrang Institute," Girls started walking in, in neat rows, and I realised that Beauxbatons was a female school. No boys. That must suck. Then, Durmstrang men walked in and I honestly didn't notice many (one guy winked at me but I glared at him and he looked away). Then, Viktor Krum walked in and whispers erupted,
"That's Viktor Krum!"
"He's going to be competing, for sure!"
I remember him from the Quidditch World Cup.
He would without a doubt win the Tournament. For sure.
