Baby Boy (Jeongchan)

Chapter 14

Jeongin woke up in his bed. He sat up confused wondering how the hell he got there because he specifically remembered falling asleep on the couch next to Chan.

Chan.

'Chan must've brung me up here' he thought to himself as he stretched.

He looked around his room and his eyes landed on his bookbag that layed on the floor next to his dresser.

He groaned, feeling irritated that he still had the dumb project and that it was due tomorrow.

He glared at his bookbag before getting up and going to the bathroom.

He brushed his teeth and washed his face but kept his pajamas on.

He grabbed his computer and charger then proceeded to make his way to Chan's room.

Standing by the door he pondered whether or not he should knock or just enter.

After a couple minutes of having a mental debate he sighed and just back to his room.

For some reason, he was scared. What was he scared of? He didnt even know himself.

So he choose to finish the rest of the project himself. He sat on his bed and opened the conputer.

He logged in and was surprise to see that it was finished. He didnt even remember finishing the slideshows.

(I have no idea how to explain this so just bare with me)

Quickly getting off his bed, he raced down the hall to Chan's room. He threw open the door, startling Chan who was on his phone.

"Jeongin, what the-"

"You finished the rest of the project" Jeongin asked..more like stated.

"Yeah" Chan said chuckling. Jeongin pouted and walked towards his bed. He flopped on it laying right on top of Chan.

"When did you finish it?"

"Last night"

"Chan" He whined kicking his feet on the bed.

"Jeongin" Chan whined back mimicking him.

"You should've let me help" Jeongin whined again.

"I didnt want to wake you" Chan whined back.

"You're being rUde" Jeongin stated.

"You're being adorable"

Silence fell over the two as Jeongin stared at Chan. When Chan called him adorable, something fluttered in his stomach.

Did he like Chan? Did Chan like him? Or was it just a compliment between friends? Felix calls him adorable all the time, so why did it feel different when Chan called him adorable?

Many thoughts ran through Jeongins head and Chan noticed the distraught look on his face.

He cleared his throat before speaking, "So what do you want to do today?"

It was sunday morning around 10-11am. It was also a nice day, it wasnt raining and it was warm outside.

"Uh, w-we could g-go out" Jeongin stuttered mentally cursing himself for stuttering.

"Jeongin"

"Chan"

"Do you have a skateboard?"

Jeongin scoffed, "Do I have a skateboard? Of course I have a skateboard everyone has one"

"Then let's skate around town" Chan stated getting up.

Jeongin sat there for a minute before getting up as well. "Ok"

He went to his room and got dressed, he put on a plain long sleeve striped shirt with a plain black short sleeve shirt on top. He put on black pants and took a chain from his dresser and connected it on his pants before putting on some Van's.

He grabbed his skateboard from the back of his closet before heading downstairs.

Chan was waiting by the door in a sleeveless black shirt, black ripped jean's and some Van's. His own skateboard by his side.

He looked up from his phone upon hearing Jeongin walking down the stairs.

"Woah, you like a real skater boy" Chan teased as Jeongin walked passed him and out the door.

Jeongin put his skateboard on the ground putting his right foot on top, "And you look like an e-boy"

"Come on let's go" he added pushing off the ground with his left foot and boarding down the sidewalk.

Chan smiled as he locked the door before following behind Jeongin.

As Jeongin glided down the street, the wind blowing in his dark red hair, he felt free.

Any stress that he had on him was lifted off his shoulders and blown away with the breeze.

He smiled as the houses and trees flew by him in a blue, Chan soon caught up to him, being by his side. They smiled at each other.

They skated past Felix's house and surprisingly Felix was sitting outside on his porch.

They turned around and slowly skated back to him. "Hey Felix" Jeongin said putting one foot on the ground.

"Wanna join?" Chan asked going in a circle around Jeongin on his skateboard.

"Sure, let me get my board"

And then the three boarded down the street. And as they past their friends house, each one grabbed their boards and joined them.

They waved at people sitting on their porch, this lady walking her dog. The past by the park where many small children stopped what they were doing to watch these cool teen kids skate by them.

"Hey, Mr.Wilson!" Seungmin called out as they past an old man gardening. Mr. Wilson being fond of the boys waved back as they past.

They turned out of the neighborhood going into the city.

Many people jumping out of the way of the large group of boys skating by, each of them shouting an apology.

Cars honking as they swerved around them, crossing the street when the light was red or randomly going infront of them doing tricks. Minho being extra almost got ran over trying to do a kick flip in the of the road.

For hours they skated around town, all laughing and smiling with each other.

They forgot about having to go to the hell they call school the next day and just enjoyed themselves.

Instead of staying in doors and stressing about upcoming tests and projects, they were out, they were free.

They all stopped at a large skate park and luckily it was empty.

They all cheered each other on as they skated around doing all kinds of tricks.

Being the normal teenagers that they were suppose to be.
