How do you think I slept last night? Let me just put it this way, I slept like I've never slept before. It was actually quite peaceful.
I wiped the sleep out of my eyes and stretched, before getting out of bed.
I quietly curse to myself as I look at the time.
I'm gonna be late to school again. Well at least it's Friday..
My teachers are gonna be so pissed. This will be my third day in a row.
I went into my bathroom, took a quick shower, brushed my teeth, pull on a t-shirt and a pair of jeans, combed my messy hair, and lastly put on my eyeliner and mascara.
Ugg, I still look terrible.
I pulled my hair into a bun and hurried to get my things.
Man this sucks.
I quietly close my window behind me, run up the path, and grab my skateboard.
Well, now I'm off to school.
~•~•~•~
By the time I'm walking into the building, class has already started.
I walk to my locker and shove my skateboard into it.
Dang, that's all I use this thing for anyway.
Before walking into my class, I slipped on my jacket to cover my wrists.
I don't want people asking questions.
Quickly, I walked into the classroom and all eyes were on me.
I slowly walked over to Mrs. Buckner, who was now glaring at me for disturbing class.
"Why are you late?" She snapped at me.
Rude much.
I pull out a piece of paper and write.
I did not mean to disrupt the class. I was having family problems at home, so that is why I am late.
She slowly read the paper and nodded her head.
"Ok Miss. Sparks. Take a seat."
I walked over to my desk and opened my notebook.
People were still staring at me.
Do they always have to do that?
I pulled out a mechanical pencil and started writing.
All eyes on me.
I am surrounded by stares.
I hear their voices say many things.
The words clutter my head and spread through the air.
She's Ugly. Stupid. Weird. Strange.
I close my eyes and hear more of the names.
Damn them all.
They are all the same.
My heart has been destroyed.
I feel nothing anymore.
I have been forever broken.
Never again to be restored.
The bell rings and students run out of the class.
I quietly gathered my things and headed down the hall.
I have math next.
I slowly walked through the crowds of people.
I have no idea where to go.
