She tries to inch closer to the bay
but the ocean grabs her by the waist and doesn't let go
She keeps fighting with all her might
and underestimates the power the sea beholdsWaves keep crashing and crashing, pulling her underneath until the sand is no longer at her feet
Salt burns her eyes and enters her perfect lips
Her body and mind soon grow tired, defeat and fatigue start to sink in
At least I tried, she thought to herself as she put herself at ease
She put away the agitation and negative thoughts of surrender and accepted her faith
She soon felt comfort as the ocean brought her deeper in and into its ferocious storms
