I Remember

I remember the first time I saw you

You depicted nothing but a void of carelessness and roughness, which may I add made all the girls wild

But you showed zero interest as usual

Ignoring you had become part of my routine

Yet when you brushed past me outside the building

I knew what I was feeling would forever be changed

I remember the first time I, well everything, felt different

All night I had been anticipating to see you once again the next day

I was yearning for your burning touch to soothe my aching body

It was as if I was disconnected from the world and you were the only thing that mattered to me

You were the only vibrant color I saw in a planet of black and white

I was drawn to you like a moth to the light, but instead I felt drawn to a flame because I knew there was a chance I might get burned and hurt in the end

I took the risk

I sat down in my designated seat waiting for you to turn around

You looked at my direction and I instantly froze as I tried to smile at you

Butterflies filled my stomach as I saw your lips curve up in amusement and your dimples show

Maybe I was right, and maybe the impossible was possible after all

I remember
