Ch. 28 - The Space Adventure pt. 2

After hours of space travel, the off color gem crew of the Sun Incinerator arrived at their destination.

Rhodonite: "C-Captain, we made it!"

Lars was seated in the captain's chair while James stood next to him.

Lars: "Finally! Twins, show the colony onscreen."

Rutile Twin: "Yes captain!"

Rutile Twin: "Right away captain."

They said as a huge screen was shown in front of them, an asteroid mining facility next to a massive colony base.

James: "There it is, Nebula-6, one of Yellow Diamond's colonized planets, known for its ship repairs and asteroid mining of rare resources..."

Lars: "How do you know that?"

James: "I read about the planet's history on Homeworld, haven't actually visited the place though for being so far from gem territory, good news for us, eh?"

Padparadscha: "Captain Lars! We've reached our destination!"

The Sapphire said in excitement.

Lars: "Thanks Padparadscha, alright guys, take us in slowly...remember, we're STILL in Homeworld territory, even if it is one planet..."

James and everyone else nodded as the ship flew into the planet's orbit, the Rutiles then turned to Lars in fear.

Rutile Twin: "Captain! Incoming transmission from the planet's docking station!"

Lars: "Switch it on."

They pressed a button as a message came on.

???: "This is Yellow Agate 4A-6Z cut 78D, you are entering Nebula-6 docking station, identify yourselves immediately!"

James covered his ears and rolled his eyes.

James: "Yeesh, this is exactly what we need, an Agate gem..."

Already, Rhodonite quickly started to freak out.

Rhodonite: "Oh no! We knew this was a bad idea! We're going to be shattered!"

Fluorite: "What...should we do, captain...?"

Lars was in thought for a moment, then realized a slight problem.

Lars: "Well, I can't talk to them! I impersonated a high ranking gem before, but I think Homeworld has wanted screens with my face on them!"

As he panicked, the Rutile Twins got James's attention.

Rutile Twin: "The Agate is waiting for a response..."

Rutile Twin: "...and she's getting impatient!"

Padparadscha: "Yellow Agate is waiting for us!"

James looked at all the off colors, already afraid for their lives as he thinks to himself, then, an idea struck him.
