Emma's POV

Me: You girls are in LA for camp right?

Christen🧘🏻‍♀️: Yes

Me: When's your next off day?

Alex🐎: Tomorrow

Me: Do you five have plans?

Alex🐎: No

Tobin⚽️👑: Nope.

Christen🧘🏻‍♀️: Not to my knowledge.

Ali💅🏻: I'm free.

Ash🦈: I'm free as well. Why what's going on?

Me: I should probably call you to tell you girls.

Ash🦈: Everyone meet in Ali and I's room. Emma we will call in five minutes.

Me: k

Five minutes later my phone rings.

"Hello."

"Hey Emma."

"Hi Ash." I say.

"So what's up."

"Um so my yearly liver appointment was two weeks ago and weirdly I had to do a whole bunch of tests and stuff.

"Okay?" Alex says.

"And well yesterday I was called in to look at the results and stuff..."

"Right?" Christen says.

"Ashy?" I say.

"Yeah Emma?"

"It-it doesn't look good."

"What do you mean?"

"I have an appointment tomorrow to go over everything, but..." I say and try not to cry.

"But what Emma?" Ali says.

"They think I need another transplant." I whisper.

"Emma are you at home?" Ash asks.

"Yeah."

"Alright. Mexican, Chinese, burger, or deli."

"Deli please."

"Alright see you in 30 minutes." Ash says and hangs up.

30 minutes later the doorbell rings and I'm met with five soccer stars holding boxes of food

"Oh come here Emma." Ash says and opens her arms.

I walk into her arms and hug her like she might disappear. Ash picks me up and carries me into the living room as the girls follow. Ash sits us down on the couch and I start crying into her shoulder

"I don't wanna go through all of this again Ashy." I say.

"When's the appointment sweetheart?" Ali asks.

"Tomorrow at 3...Can you girls come with me?"

- - - - -

"I'm sorry to say this Emma, but the other doctor was correct...you will need another transplant...and preferably sooner rather than later."

"Okay." I say and look away from the doctor.

Ash continues to talk to the doctor and when the door closes I look at the girls.

Ash, Ali, Tobin, Christen, and Alex all came with me to my appointment today. When we got here we were told I needed to be admitted to the hospital which wasn't a good side.
