Emma's POV

"Whatcha workin on Emma?" Kylie asks.

It's been two days since my surgery and Kylie and the girls came up to sit with me as did Ash, Ali, Alex, Christen, and Tobin after their training session. Thankfully they gave me a corner room so I have a huge room.

"A song." I say and finish up the lyrics.

"How does it go?"

I hand the lyrics over to Kylie and she reads them then they get passed around the room. 

"Y-you...Emma why?" Hailey asks.

"It's how I feel at the moment."

"Emma you are going to live." Ash says.

"Ash you heard the doctor. I have a 95% chance of not making it."

"So fight."

"Ashy I'm tired. I want to stop hurting. I'm a fucking vegetable...I can't take it anymore."

"Marry me." Gigi says making my head whip around to look at her as does everyone else.

"Wh-what?"

"Marry me."

"I mean I always thought I'd be the one to propose to you."

"Fine, but you have to fight and get better. When you get a clean bill of health you can propose to me and then we'll get married, but Emma..."

"Yeah?" I say then Gigi cups my face.

"You have to fight."

"Yeah okay."

"Alright...first day of therapy. You ready?" Ash asks.

"no." I mumble.

"Emma."

"Don't you have training?" I ask.

"If you haven't noticed we are at training. Dawn's helping with your rehab." Ash says making me look down and try not to cry

"Do I have too?" I mumble making Ash hug me.

"Yes Emma. You have to get better."

"It's so hard."

"I know, but you are gonna get better."

"What if I don't want to?"

"What do you want to do then?"

I mumble my response.

"What?"

"JUST LET ME DIE." I yell forgetting we are at Ashy's practice with her teammates around us. "ASHY I CAN BARELY BREATHE. I CAN'T WALK WITHOUT SUPPORT. I CAN'T EAT WITH BEING FED. I HAVE TO TAKE MEDS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. HELL I CAN'T EVEN HAVE A FUCKING DRINK WITHOUT DYING"

I'm immediately pulled to the ground by Ash.

"Please...just let me die."

"I can't." Ash says while choking back a sob. "I'm not letting you go Emma. You're going to get better again"

"please." I whisper.

"Emma it's only five month's then you'll be back to normal and we can go to the jewelry store."

"Ashy please."

"Emma...Please...Just do this for me and Gigi."

"Fine." I say then both of us get up.

"Good." Ash says

Ash then walks away from me a little bit and stops when she gets 15-20 feet away from me.

"Alright now walk." Ash says and I look at her like she's crazy. "Don't look at me like that. Just do it."

I nod then start walking.

"Good...just a few more feet...keep coming...there we go."

Once I get to Ash I collapse into her arms.

"I know it hurts, but you need to keep going...do it for Gigi."

For Gigi.

"Alright Emma that was the last one...Congratulations you are officially down with rehab" Dawn says to which I nod.

It's been a long five months.

After I finish my rehab shit I go shower and change then meet Ash outside by my car.

"Your driving." I say and throw her the keys and get into the car. "Oh I'm done with rehab."

"EMMA." Ash yells and hugs me.

"I have the ring so let's go." I say.

We drive to my house since that's where the girls are waiting. Once there Ash parks in the garage then we head inside and I immediately seek out my girlfriend. After searching for a couple minutes I spot my girl.

"Gigi?" I say as I kneel and grab the ring from my pocket.

"BABY" Gigi yells and turns around.

"Will you marry me?"

"W-what?"

"I finished rehab today and I did it for you...I know I should make this a big extravagant event, but this is the woman I fell in love with." I motion to what she is wearing. She is in loose crop top and sweats. "I love that I get to see you on billboards and in magazines, but days like today is when you are at your most beautiful. I love you the most when you walk around the house in lazy clothes with no makeup. The day I knew I wanted to marry you was when you and I just had a lazy day together. I got to be around you when you were at your most beautiful. You've saved me so many times and I'm eternally grateful for that. With you in my life and by my side I know that no matter what I go through I can get through it because I know that you love me. You mean the world to me and there is nobody in the universe I would want to spend the rest of my life with... So Jelena Noura Hadid will you make me the luckiest woman in the world and be my wife?"

I guess Gigi couldn't speak because she just nodded her head vigorously. I smile then slip the ring on her finger then passionately kiss my now fiancée.

"What the fuck Emma." Bella says and fans her eyes.

"Oops. Sorry. Kinda forgot you girls where here."

"EMMA YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED." Hailey yells and jumps on me as the other girls look at the ring.

Maybe I finally caught that break.
