Chapter 10: GTKY

When Kim and Pie arrived at the mall. They immediately go the appliance center to buy Kim's rice cooker.

"How much is this sir?" Kim asked. She wants a pot-style rice cooker.

"500 baht ma'am" the sales man replied.

"Well, Not bad" she checked the rice cooker and called Pie who is busy texting on her phone. Pie walk towards her

"How much is this?" Pie asked.

"500 baht, and i thinks this is good" Kim answered. Pie checked the unit and smile.

"Okay, please give us a new stock sir." Pie asked the sales man.

"Right away ma'am. A moment please." The sales man excused himself to get some new stock. Kim roam around to check some appliances and suddenly her eyes widened when she saw some x-box 360. She hurriedly run to it and check it. She's busy reading the features when...

"A little bit childish huh?!" Kim turned around when she heard Pie at her back.

"Aa-ehh.... Hehehe.. Just a little bit" Kim scratching her neck like a kid who got caught with something.

"Hahaha! So, you want that too?" Pie asked.

"Nah, maybe some other time. My dad will kill me if he learned that i spent my allowance for this. Some other time maybe." Kim answered.

"Okay, so here's your rice cooker. You go to the cashier and i'll wait for you outside." Pie give the unit to Kim and walks away. Kim walks to the cashier and paid for it.

"Pie!" Pie turned around to check who called her. It was Jane, Puey and Nerd. They ran to her and hug her.

"I was about to call you guys. I'm sorry--" Pie explained.

"Oh! It's okay Pie, no worries. So, where's Kim?" Jane excitedly asked.

"Oh yeah, she's---"

"Oh! There she is!" Jane interrupted when she saw Kim approaching them. Jane ran to Kim and immediately wrap her arms around Kim's arm. Pie saw Kim's discomfort and that made her smile. "Here we go again!" She murmured.

"Hey guys! This is Kim. Kim, this is Puey and Nerd." Jane introduced Kim to her friends. Kim shake their hands and greeted them.

"You're the one from cafe right? The performer?" Puey asked Kim.

"Uhmm.. Jeeez.. Yah!" Kim shyly answered.

"Hey guys! I'm hungry. Can we eat now?!" Nerd asked.

"Oh my! She must be really hungry. Hahahaha!" Puey shockingly said, Laughing so hard together with Jane and Pie that made Kim wondering. Pie noticed the big question mark on Kim's face.

"I'll tell you later. Hahaha!" Pie said.

"Aa--okay." Kim replied. They go to the food court and eat some pizza because most of them are craving for it.

Pie can see the discomfort in Kim when Jane's always trying to feed her. Kim look at her asking for help. She look at her and laugh silently.

"Hey guys, i'm just going to the powder room Okay?" Pie said and walk. She's just a few meters away when she heard Kim calling her. She turned and saw Kim running after her carrying the box of the rice cooker.
