The Days (malec fanfiction)

(Sorry this chapter will be short)

Izzy walked into her brother's room with a bowl of soup. A few days ago her brother had come home soaked through with rain and blood shot eyes a. She had asked him what was wrong but he couldn't get out any words instead he pulled her into a hug and wouldn't let go as if he were afraid she would leave. He had told her what happened some time later, after he had changed and gotten a shower. She was in shock and was angry but stayed calm for her brother.

"Hey big brother," she said. Alec was sitting on the ground with his legs pulled up agianst his chest and a blanket around his legs, "why aren't you on your bed? Or on one of the chairs?"

Alec didn't respond he just shook and lowered his head into his lap.

Izzy kneels down next to him, "Alec I know your hurting but you haven't been eating or sleeping. You need to take care of yourself."

"Izzy I love that your trying to help but..."

"But what? I... I can't sit around and wait for you to be better. I dont want to go on another mission and look over my shoulder and seeing you on the ground or not there at all."
