they said your heart was broken,
and i thought mine was too,
until one day yours stopped beating,
and mine didn't know what to do,
they said you were in pain,
but your smile saw you through,
i think it was your mischievous smile,
or myself ignoring my blue,
but i don't like this feeling of lonely,
this feeling of not having you,
i need you my side again,
i need to say goodbye to you,
i feel so empty,
i'm nothing without you,
i don't think anyone could understand,
a life without you,
you made my world a better place,
you know me like nobody else ever will,
you touched my heart in a new way,
your life has now come to a standstill,
a life like no other,
a poem with its rhyme,
every love song and every sunset,
all from one twine,
i will love you forever,
i refuse to let you go,
i hope you never leave me,
in my heart- you'll find your home.
