The next day, Hermione met Ron outside the common room. She'd brushed out her chestnut curls and paired a blue lacy top with her best jeans. "Hi Ron," she blushed.
"You look... Nice!" He commented. "You ready? I was wondering if you'd like to take a stroll around the gardens first?"
"That would be amazing!" Gushed Hermione.
Ron took Hermione out. She had never felt happier. Ron made her laugh and the longer they were together, the more she felt her crush for him grow stronger. Then he frowned.
"Oh. Hermione... Do you mind if I got you know, to the washroom for a sec? You can wait here. I won't be too long." Ron said suddenly, looking a bit anxious. "Sure. I'll wait for you here." Hermione sat down on the bench. "I can recite spells when I'm waiting for you. I do have a test next week!" Ron laughed, rather nervously, and headed off.
Ten minutes later, Hermione was started to get a little worried. She'd recited her spells 6 times. "Where's Ron?" She muttered. "I'd better go find him."
She walked towards the bathroom and turned-- to see Ron kissing Lavender Brown.
