Lyra was reading her son's letters with a small smile. She loved to hear about his days at Hogwarts, and she loved to compare them to hers.

All of his letters interested her. Everything. The way he wrote was like the way Nick wrote, except Will did his e's more like Lyra. The way he described something was so discriptive that Lyra often pictured herself standing next to her son as he did those things.

She smiled when she read a small part about Lynx. Lyra noticed that Will, with no exception, always said his sisters name in every letter - even if it was because she was annoying him.

The close relationship between Will and Lynx reminded Lyra so much of her and Sirius that it made her eyes sting from unshed tears. The only differance was that Lyra didn't fight with Sirius, whereas Will and Lynx fought frequintly; but Lyra knew that that was just the way they showed affection.

They seemed to get that from the Black family, because Blacks don't like showing emotion much, but the Blues loved to show emotion - and they were good at explaining how they felt.

Lynx has been fighting with that boy again, at first I thought it was a cute crush - but they seemed to fight just as much as Ron and Hermione - and those two fight alot. Do you know that people are starting to take bets on when they'll end up together? I had to threaten ten boys today who thought that Lynx was going to fall for that boy...

Lyra arched an eyebrow at that. Lynx has a crush on a boy? Why hadn't she told her about it? Lynx and Lyra always tell eachother everything.

Lyra wrote a reply, trying to be subtle about asking who the boy was. She reread it and was pleased that it seemed at though the fact that Lynx had a crush and didn't tell her didn't bother her - which it did, alot.

"Lyra?" Lyra looked up as Sirius entered the living room of Number Twelve Grimmuald Place, looking as gloomy as ever. "Order meeting. . . again."

Lyra nodded and Sirius left.

Lyra noticed that Sirius was most gloomy on Order meetings, which in some way she could understand why. Sirius really took no part in the Order, he just sat there sucking in all the information and having nothing to do with it. It must be horrid to hear about all the missions everyone else has to do and then when Dumbledore turns to you, he says 'stay in th house, SIrius'.

Lyra felt as though Dumbledore should have a little sympathy for Sirius, because no one likes being locked up - espeicially a Black (who had already been chucked in a cell in Azkaban for twelve years.) Lyra didn't think that Sirius should run around naked in the middle of DIagon Alley but she thought he could at least run around in dog form across the street or something.

Lyra got to her feet and left the living room, entering the dining room where everyone was already seated.

Lyra got many greetings as she walked down the table to take her seat next to her brother, but the only greeting she bothered to acknowledge was Snape's, who sneered at her with hatred. She gave him the Black Look, which was when a Black family member would look down on someone with a look so supirior that it made the person feel like dirt.

Lyra sat next to Sirius and sat eagerly in her chair, waiting to be assighed a mission.

"Any trouble with the gaurding, Tonks?" Dumbledore asked when I sat down.

Tonks, who had bags under her eyes and looked very tired yawned and said. "No trouble at all. No sign of Death Eaters or Voldemort."

Some Order members hissed and winced at the sound of his name, but others just looked unaffected.

"Good," Dumbledore looked pleased. "I assume you will pass on a mission this evening, Tonks?"

"You assume correctly, sir," Tonks looked ready to fall asleep on the spot. "I need a few hours of shut-eye."

Remus grinned at her when she rubbed her eyes slowly and dramatically. His grin only widened when she put her elbow on the table, but accidently slipped and toppled off her chair.

"I'll gaurd the door, Dumbledore," Bill Weasley said, ignoring his mothers pleading look.

The rest of the meeting was cut short, however, when a patronus materialized in the middle of the table, staring straight at Lyra.

"Nick Blue has been spotted in a muggle town west of Helga Lane. Ministry unaware of his where abouts at the moment." the silver platapus desolved into thin air, but Lyra didn't see it disappear because the second it said Helga Lane, she was out the door.
