"Hey what's your name again?"
I looked up and saw 3 girls that looked like they were not supposed to be in the 9th grade.
"It's Kahri"
They all pulled chairs and sat around me.
"I'm Tabitha this is Rina and Riley they twins"
"Oh okay," I say while finishing up work
"Fraternal Tabitha fraternal twins!" Rina yelled
"My fault sorry," Tabitha said
They all started to talk together and I was just in the middle listening to the conversation. I wanted to move but that would be considered rude right?
I was an awkward person I didn't know how to hold or keep a conversation with a girl from here.
"Uhm what time is it?" I ask
Riley checked her phone "7:50 am"
"Wow, your accent is so cute!" Tabitha exclaimed
"Thank you," I mumbled
"Well just up to us Rina and Riley were talking about our crushes and relationships" Tabitha explained
I nodded.
"So do you have a crush or are you in a relationship right now?" she asked
I shook my head and Aries popped up in my head.
That was weird.
"Oh alright then," She said softly
"Uhm..do you have a crush or in a relationship?" I ask
"Yea I am!"
She seemed as if she was waiting to be asked this question.
"Oh really? Who?"
She smirked "Aries Richmond"
My body froze.
Aries is dating her? I mean she's really pretty but for some reason—
I felt. . .jealous.
"Oh I did not know that"
She smiled.
The bell rang and they all got up "Bye see you"
They waved and grabbed their bags I was the first one to leave. I had history with Aries every day and for some reason, I couldn't wait.
I got to class and sat down I looked at the door waiting for Aries to come but he never came through.
Class starts and the bell rings. I convinced myself that he was just late. Mrs. Ann kept going with attendance and once she hit Aries name nobody answered.
