It was Friday night and the only thing on my mind was Kahri.
I couldn't stop thinking about her.
I began to think if I was going a bit too fast.
I knew I shouldn't have kissed her but she looked so pretty and looked so nervous.
I had convinced her to skip detention because I felt bad that I got her in that mess in the first place. It was already Friday and I couldn't wait to see her on Monday.
Her accent was even cuter when she would say my name. Half of the time I found myself smiling just thinking about her.
"Yo Aries!"
I looked up and it says "Finish Him" on the screen from the PlayStation.
"You off yo' game today," Donte says,
I shake my head and put the controller down.
"And you been in this smiling mood everyday" He takes a sip of his grape Fanta.
I shrug.
"My nigga, you good?"
I smile and nod.
"Nah that smile again you sure broskie?"
"Yuh' I'm good," I say trying to convince him
"Nah, what's up we don't keep secrets"
"I'm not," I say,
"You crushing on somebody?"
Damn.
"Yea," I say bluntly
He smiles at me "Who? Tabitha?"
I scrunch my eyebrows up "Fuck no"
"Whatchu mean fuck no? she's bad as fuck and she likes you"
"She's been around," I say bluntly
"Yeah so? You can't lie she's bad and her ass big"
I furrowed my eyebrows "So? I don't want to be with a girl that every guy has had"
He shrugged "You thinking to much of it"
I scoffed "Looks ain't shit personality counts too if we can't connect on a mental level, spiritual level and can't vibe then I can't fuck with you"
"Ight man, who is it?"
I picked up the controller and restarted the game.
