Oneirataxia

Chapter Five

Napatitig ako sa kastilyo na nasa harap ko. It looks so huge and majestic. I can't still believe that I'm seeing a castle this near, and bloody hell, it is real.

Everything that happened is still kinda vague to me. The abduction, the snake, Liezel, Lawrence and Dale. Also that Hayden. Everything feels like a dream, and I'm afraid that I would be able to wake up any second. I don't know how would I explain this emotion I've been feeling, but it feels like it's in a positive way.

I smiled. This is a call for an adventure.

“Keziah my loves!" nakarinig ako ng pamilyar na tawag kaya nangunot ang noo ko. Lumingon ako at nakita ko si Traze habang tumatakbo, kasunod ang isang lalaking may puting buhok, samantalang si Jade naman ay mabagal na naglalakad sa likod ng dalawa.

"Namiss kita Keziah my loves!" sigaw ni Traze nang makalapit na s'ya sa akin.

"You don't need to shout." nakangiting sabi ko sa kanya. Lumapit ako sa kanya at niyakap s'ya. Mabilis naman s'yang gumanti ng yakap. "Sorry, 'di kita namiss." sabi ko saka humiwalay.

"Ouch naman." humawak pa s'ya sa puso n'ya at umaktong nasasaktan. "Palagi mo nalang akong sinasaktan."

Tumawa ako, "Sira. As if I'd miss you in a short period of time. Akala mo naman hindi kita nakita nung isang araw."

Nangunot ang noo n'ya, "Nung isang araw? The last time I saw you was a week and a half ago. That was merely eleven days—I think."

"Eleven days?" Napaisip ako. Ang alam ko, ilang araw akong natutulog. I thought I was only asleep for two days or so. Hindi ko alam na ganun pala ako katagal natulog.

"Yes. That's eleven days, eight hours, and forty six minutes to be exact." sabi nung lalaking may puting buhok. Pinanliitan ko s'ya ng mata, he somehow looks familiar.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Yuriko Zen Ziewood. You can also call me Yuri. The son of the General of the knights in Levi. I will be your attendant. " aniya saka yumuko ng saglit. “It's an honor to meet you again."

Recognition hit me. I do know this guy! “You're the guy that saved me before!”

“Yes. Yours truly.”

“Then take this.” I grinned and slapped him hard on his cheeks. Natigilan silang tatlo dahil sa ginawa ko. “That's for taking you so long to save me. Pagrand entrance ka pang nalalamang gago ka.”

He bowed his head, “Sorry—”

“Thank you anyway. If you haven't saved me back then, I won't be able to slap you hard.” I smiled. Bigla namang tumawa ng malakas si Traze dahil doon.

Inakbayan n'ya ako sabay gulo ng buhok ko, “This is really the reason why I love you. You're so savage.” Traze said. Natawa naman ako sa sinabi n'ya.

Trazen Kyle Justou is my best friend since we were highschool and we really feel comfortable with each other.  Magkasundo kami sa halos lahat ng bagay—well, except with his callsign with me. We both believe that we are soulmates, but we're both better in a platonic way.

I looked at him and winked, “I know right.”

Jade faked a coughed, “Why are you alone? You should be with the prince right now.”

I looked at him with my forehead crinkled, “You mean Zey? He left me here.”

“Without some guards?” he asked again.

“Obviously.” I answered. “Fortunately, I heard this guy's voice calling me again with that cheeky call sign.” sagot ko sabay kurot sa pisngi ni Traze.
