"Baby! Wake up we gotta go shopping for the nursery!" I heard from downstairs and groaned sitting up. I looked around my room and smiled as the sun shined through the window. I recently went apartment hunting and got a nice ass condo- well me and my mans did.

"I'm comin!" I shouted and slowly stood up holding my back. Carrying two big ass babies ain't a joke.

"You want pancakes today?!" He shouted up the stairs

"Yeah!" I yelled back and he said okay. I grabbed my towel and walked to my bathroom taking off the oversized t-shirt I wore the night before and turned the water on so it could heat up

I turned to the mirror and smiled. I'm finally happy and stress free, doing amazing. My babies are gonna be born into a loving home with no drama. Moving out of the hood is the best thing I could've done.

Watching Netflix with T-bone

"You ever think about the life that's out there?" T-bone looked down at me

"Yeah. I been thinking about it since I was little, and now I'm thinking about it even more with these two here" I rubbed my stomach

"Sapphire, I wanna give you that life. That somewhat normal shit, nice house with a white fence and a green lawn. Shit a dog too" he chuckled and my face began to heat up as I smiled

Thank god for my melanin, my face would've been red as a tomato.

"I'm serious. Be my girl" he looked down at me and I laughed

"T we been talking for like two minuets man" I shook my head sitting up "plus I'm 17 man. You're 21" he looked at me and turned his head sideways

"And? Jay z got mad years on Beyoncé" he said in a matter of fact tone.

"So what we Jay and Bey now?" I asked throwing some hot Cheetos into my mouth

"Hell yeah. And stop eating that shit it ain't healthy for you" he snatched the bag and gave me the apple he was about to eat.

"I'm not on that pedo shit. You about to be 18 soon and I'm not planning on doin nothing yet. I wanna treat you right and we can get to know each other, but just know you mine and I'm yours" He shrugged and ate some of the chips.

"T" he cut me off

"Jayceon babygirl" He said whole eating my Cheetos

"Jayceon gimme my chips" I giggled and tried getting them and he laughed keeping them from me. We spent the night just relaxing and talking, telling each other everything- well not everything but just about enough.

I snapped out of my trance and hopped into the hot shower, letting my hair get wet. I scrubbed myself up and washed my hair and got out, drying off.

"Babe the pancakes are done" Jayceon walked into the bathroom handing me a sweat suit

"What's this for?" I looked at him crazy

"It's cold outside" he said quickly and smiled

"Nigga it's 80 degrees outside." I laughed and handed it back to him and he straight faced me

"Don't go wearing them shorts man. You got guys and girls eyeing yo ass and I don't like it one bit" he sat on the bed when we made our way to the bedroom

"I can't help what people are looking at" I shrugged my shoulders and dropped my towel putting on my bra and panties

"Dang" I turned and he was biting his bottom lip staring at me

"Nope" I shook my head and started to oil my skin up

"Lemme eat" I choked on my spit

"Boy it's too early. Go eat your breakfast" he laughed and stood up

"Whatever" as he walked out he stopped by me and wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my neck and cheek "I love you" I smiled hard as fuck

"I...I love you too" I felt my heart jump
I sound like those soft girls. I ain't no soft bitch. I'm lying yes I am

He left and I threw on an adidas dress and my fur slides from Walmart. No matter how much money I have, I will not sleep on Walmart

"Sapphire lets go! We gotta meet with Lip!" He shouted up the stairs.
I moved out of the hood, but I'm still stuck in that gang shit.
