"We are sorry to inform you..."

Those words replayed in my mind over and over. Those words made Jaceyon faint, and made Oscar actually cry.
Yes, the cholo cried.

The excessive stress on me had taken a toll on the babies. Star and Sky, my loves, pay the price for my trash ass life. They pay the price for everything that was happening to me. And now, I feel like the biggest piece of shit ever.

"Baby you have to eat" Jaceyon came in and put down a tray of food he had made me.
I don't deserve him. I don't deserve anyone.

I turned my head and he sighed.

"Babe, the girls will be fine" I heard his voice crack and when I looked he had tears in his eyes.

"Jay, they are in the fucking NICU, I don't think they will be fine" I felt my throat get hot and tight, telling me I was about to cry

"Don't cry man, imma cry" he shook his head, and as he said, he burst into tears at the same time as me.

"I don't know what I did wrong" I cried and he sat on the bed, pulling me to his lap

"You did nothing wrong Sapph" he rubbed my back as I sobbed into his shirt.

"You wanna go see the girls today?" He asked and I pulled away

"No shit jay. We see them everyday. Today ain't no different" I snapped and instantly slapped my hands to my mouth

"I am so sorry I didn't mean to" I tried rambling on and he stopped me

"It's okay. You're stressed. It's not your fault" he smiled. I reached his face and wiped his tears as he did the same to me

"Ok y'all cute or whatever but can we go see my nieces" Jamal stood at the door with an amused Ruby and a slightly irritated Ceaser.

"Learn to knock nigga. What if I was rearranging her guts?" Jay said and Jamal cringed

"Then you would've shut the door." Ceaser said blandly and everyone stopped laughing

"Yo who invited this nigga?" Jay stood up with me still in his hold
Oh shit he lifted my fat ass up

"Babe put me down" I whispered to him and he looked at me with a screwed up face

"No. The fuck" And he went back to arguing.

"Those are my nieces. They're actually my blood, you can't say the same" Ceaser said with a smirk

Jaceyon went to put me down and I held onto him tighter, wrapping my legs around him knowing what he was about to do.

"No. Today we are gonna see my babies. Nobody will mess this day up. And if you do, I will genuinely fuck you up" I said glaring at everyone, including Ceaser.
Ion like his bitch ass right now.

"Ceaser you know that you and your brother see them on different days with me. This ain't nothing new."I said blandly

"Spooky said I get to see them whenever" he shrugged

"Is spooky their mother?"

"Nah, he's they father"

"Did spooky push two babies and two placentas outta his pussy?"

"No...but..he uh" he stuttered

"Ok then. Your Uber will be outside in a few. Find your way out there." I sighed.

Ceaser is a whole new person. Ever since his ass officially became a member, he's been cold. And now he acts like a smaller version of spooky.

"Fuck y'all" he walked out and I heard the door slam

"Well, that was very umm, intense. We gonna be in the living room" Ruby said as they walked down the hall

"RUBY! The living room is downstairs!" Jay shouted after them

"We know! We wanna be nosey and see what sis got here!" Jamal yelled back and we both laughed.

At the hospital in Brentwood

"They are both doing better now that we put them into the same bed, and their responses to sound and light are amazing. They seem ready to go home soon" the doctor smiled reading off the chart to Jay, Ruby, Jamal and I.

"Wait wait wait. Soon or today?" Ruby asked quickly

"If they can drink from mom with no problem and hold it down, then I see no reason as to why they shouldn't" he said and put the chart onto a table.

"These two are fighters. They are very strong" he said

"Also, someone has stopped by trying to get to see the girls, but we stopped them like you said. Nobody gets in unless Ms.Grey says so" he said with a lower voice. Jay walked to the door and shut it

"Who was it?" He asked. I felt the anger radiating off of him.

"It was a Prophet." He said. "Lil shit thought he was fuckin slick"
I should probably mention that this doctor was a Prophet. My dad got him out the hood, he saw potential

"You got any camera footage?" Jay asked, but at the same time he received. Doc handed him a paper and it had a picture of one of Spookys men. Outside it showed at least 20 of them waiting in the parking lot. I knew what this was.

"They wanted to take my babies"
